Motif Nashville's Hotel on Music Row

1. This two-bedroom apartment with a kitchen only has one window that cannot be opened, and both bedrooms have no windows (though the pictures showed them). 2. The bathroom and living room have large exhaust fans that are incredibly loud, sounding like a heavy truck running non-stop. When the neighbors or downstairs units turn on their AC or exhaust fans, the whole wall vibrates. It was so bad I couldn't fall asleep until I was exhausted in the early hours (eventually, my AirPods helped block out the noise). 3. Parking is $54 per night. The parking lot is in the basement downstairs, but you're not allowed to self-park; you have to give your keys to the hotel for valet service. 4. Nashville is a fantastic and very clean city worth visiting. However, I'd recommend thinking twice before choosing this hotel.

It's just so-so. Valet service is the only option, but it involves a lot of tipping. I'd give it three stars at most; I wouldn't recommend it.

I highly discourage booking this hotel. Both times I booked, I was given a corner room on the second floor. The air conditioner was extremely noisy, especially in the living room. While resting in the bedroom, I could clearly hear the noise from the bathroom upstairs. The most outrageous thing was that I had an early morning meeting after checking out, so I left my luggage at the hotel reception. When I went to retrieve it that evening, all my luggage was gone! The hotel receptionist kept questioning me, saying they hadn't seen my luggage there. A while later, just as I was about to call the police, I saw other hotel guests carrying my luggage down the elevator, saying that the receptionist had given them the wrong luggage and that they had taken it all along. The receptionist even said that such things were normal, with many hotel guests, and mistakes were common. Although my luggage was returned, the shock of discovering it was missing lasted me all night, and I was still in a state of shock the next day. Ctrip customer service handled the situation promptly, but the hotel was extremely unreliable.
