Americas Best Value Inn Nashville Downtown

1st of all this is a motel NOT a hotel. It's in a NOT so good area and the customer service was either non existent at times or very poor. The staff was rude. There were at least three other people at the front desk area (which was the size of a shoe box) asking to be refunded and they were being told to come back the next day when they literally just paid less than 5 minutes prior. The next day would come and they would be told the same thing again. When I arrived I was told that I needed to pay more money. They said I was suppose to pay 3 different taxes. I showed them where I booked online and where I was already charged 3 different taxes. They said it didn't show up in there system so I would have to pay it again and to take that up with Trip Advisor who I booked them through. Of course Trip advisor said I was NOT suppose to pay any more money and they reached out to the motel who said they would refund me my money. After 3 days of myself and Trip Advisor going back and forth with them they still did NOT refund me as promised. Trip Advisor also got tired of there lies and refunded me themselves. After my experience and seeing first hand what others experienced I would say stay far away from this rat hole! Seems to be ran by scammers.

Was charged double even after paying they charged me when I arrived. Dirty rooms, terrible location, and rude staff

I booked for one night on August 15th. There wasn't a single cup in the room, not even a paper cup. The sheets were stained, and I sniffed them. They didn't smell like freshly washed disinfectant. The four pillowcases were freshly changed and smelled like they'd been washed. They said breakfast was included, but it was just a bag of snacks and brewed coffee. I asked the Indian woman, "Is that breakfast?" She said yes, then pulled out another bag of snacks from under the counter and said, "That's all there is to breakfast." Is this what Indians consider a continental breakfast? This was the worst hotel experience I've ever had. I'm giving them a 0-point review, feeling insulted and deceived.

It was nice for the price the bed was comfy .. the only thing that was wrong the fridge didn't work but other than that it was good

Some rooms are nice some aren’t

ALMOST NONE OF THE AMENITIES LISTED WERE AVAILABLE (except for the hair dryer). No breakfast (except a pack of donuts). Outside property was rundown, in an unsafe, transient area that may or may not have featured sex workers trolling about. Window curtains and lamps broken. Bathroom fan broken with motor bits (filthy) exposed. Microwave glass plate missing. Only good parts of the room, the mattress seemed new and linens were clean. Why did we stay? Because we prepaid and because ******* OFFERED IT AND WE TRUSTED *******!
