Hyatt Place Nashville Downtown

Our stay was great, staff was accommodating and helpful with all inquiries and requests. Room was clean, ac worked great to maintain a good temperature. Close to broadway, walking distances to all our needs from the theatres, shops, bars. Breakfast was very good mix of options, being someone with many dietary restrictions I had no issues finding a well balanced breakfast that wasn’t just all carbs and bread!

Nice property and plenty of space in the room. The breakfast was just ok (it was free after all) but the dining area for it was quite nice.

Place was generally decent. Breakfast had enough options that you didn't have to eat out. Pool was decent temp. Good location to main strip. Biggest gripe: Booked 2 double beds rooms. Was suppose to be on same floor. Got there to find 2 single beds on separate floors. One was able to be accommodated to a double. The other wasn't. Parking also very expensive and cant accommodate all guest on busy nights so I would recommend you stay put on a hot night cause you might come back to no parking and still have to pay that expensive daily fee. Pro tip: There's a pancake restaurant across the street from main entrance. You will see lines out there most the morning and feel compelled to try it. Save yourself the money and aggravation. Place is super expensive with sub par food and horrible service. Definitely not worth it. Isn't affiliated with hotel in any way and no bearing on the hotel, but you can't miss this place while staying here and seeing those lines will compel you so figured I'd warn you.

Our original booking with Trip.com got cancelled because of over-booking and they suggested we book here. They also told us they would refund us the difference of the new booking. However, they would not issue a refund to the credit card we used, they wanted my personal banking information which we refused to give. So, we paid an additional $134 because this hotel would not allow us to cancel. The Hyatt Place's customer service was good, but the room was no better than any other hotel for the higher price. Unfortunately, because we could not recover our loss for Trip.com's overbooking, we will definitely NOT use Trip.com again.
