The good: excellent restaurant and bar. Food was very good, including the complimentary breakfast. Staff was very pleasant. Hotel was clean. Bed was comfortable. The-not-so-good: rooms are rustic, I suppose, but devoid of charm. No AC and only a small window to open made our room too warm for us, especially since there was no sheet, only a heavy comforter. We requested a fan but they didn’t have one. The bathroom lighting is poor, and there was no complimentary lotion. Also, there is no TV in the room, which we didn’t miss terribly but it’s nice to catch up on the news for a few minutes. Lastly, there was no room fridge, nor complimentary coffee/tea available. No gym/fitness center either. All in all, the hotel is fine but seems overpriced and we were disappointed, particularly since we paid nearly $500/night. We have stayed in many hotels that were far better for a third of the price. But it’s supply and demand, I suppose.
