Wir waren sehr gerne Gäste im Rico Shadow Guest House und werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen. So ein tolles Hotel/Gästehaus. Der Besitzer Christopher Dabarera ist sehr freundlich und erfüllt einem Gast jeden Wunsch. Wir haben jeden Tag frisches Obst bekommen und vor allem mit viel Liebe zubereitetes leckeres Essen. Auch die Anlage an sich ist super sauber und wunderschön am Strand gelegen. Das Gesamtbild und die Preis-Leistung ist unschlagbar. Wir waren in mehreren Hotels in Sri Lanka, aber dort ist man überall nur eine „Nummer“ und hier im Rico Shadow ist man einfach noch Mensch und wird persönlich und liebevoll jeden Tag begrüßt. Man fühlt sich sehr willkommen. Rico, der Restarant-Manager ist unglaublich freundlich und geht auf ALLE Wünsche ein. Unsere Kinder hatten unzählige Spezialwünsche, die alle erfüllt wurden. Auch der Pool ist immer sauber und liegt direkt am Gästehaus. Wir werden wieder kommen!!!! :-)

Von Anfang bis zum Schluss war unser Aufenthalt eine eindrückliche Erfahrung. Die Vorbereitungen (Flugbuchung, Boardingpass, Visa, Einreiseformalitäten, Gesundheitsformular, Transfer, etc.) gehärten zur Dienstleistung und klappten perfekt. Ein sehr schönes, sauberes und grosses Zimmer, eine gepflegte Anlage mit Pool, ein Room- und Poolservice gehörten ebenso zum Angebot wie das phantastische 5-Gang-Auswahlmenü. Die persönlichen Kontakte mit Besitzer Christopher und seiner Familie, speziell er selbst, Nichte Ramona, Neffe Rico, Schwester Kamala und Schwager Sunil waren einzigartig, Uns wurden die Wünsche von den Augen abgelesen. Ausflüge, Transfers, Einkäufe, Ayurweda wurden vor Ort speditiv organisiert und mit hochstehender Qualität und preiswert durchgeführt. Trotz schwieriger wirtschaftlicher und sozialer Situation im Land fühlten wir uns jederzeit sicher und wohl. Dazu beigetragen hat auch Assistant Manager Mr. Ashoka. Danke, danke, danke, wir kommen gerne wieder.
