The settings and pool are fabulous. The accommodations look amazing. However mine was damp smelly and I felt stuffy and had headaches every day. Windows at night couldn’t be open due to monkeys etc The owners guna was a lovely man…he really was but he failed to solve anything ref the room. Felt he wasn’t concerned at all. Building work started 8am- gone 6pm which was not at all relaxing by pool or morning coffee. I failed to do my yoga as noise was too much. I have to say with the smell damp and noise I did not enjoy my stay at all. Although food staff & settings were lovely

I felt very comfortable. The staff are so warm and friendly. I was able to spontaneously add breakfast, and it was definitely worth it. The room is small and a bit dark, but it has everything you need, including AC.

A nice little hotel. Beautifully decorated. Clean. Small pool. The bridge over the river (the shortcut to the beach) is broken, so you have to go around. There's hot water. The Wi-Fi is ok, but the fridge smells awful inside. The wall facing the street (room 6) gets very hot during the day, so it's like a sauna. The noise is very loud. In the evening, the locals periodically like to set off firecrackers.

The hotel is quiet in a busy area, within walking distance to the beach and the main street. It has its own swimming pool, a nice environment, fluorescent fish, and provides a variety of tourist activities.

Amazing 5 out of 5 My stay at this hotel exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the team made me feel genuinely welcome. The room was cozy and beautifully maintained, and the atmosphere throughout the hotel felt calm and inviting. Breakfast was delicious, and the service was thoughtful without being intrusive. I left feeling refreshed and well cared for.

We stayed here for our first three nights in Sri Lanka to rest and recover from the long flight. It is a lovely small, quiet hotel with a plunge pool. Shashika and Nishini were really friendly and welcoming. They arranged pick up from the airport, a boat trip and a taxi to Colombo train station. Delicious Sri Lankan breakfast with fruit plate and eggs, always served with a smile from Pradeep. It is just a short walk over the canal to the main road for the shops, resturants and beach.
