Lots of greenery. Various types of houses, of varying heights, line the paths. Like a small and cute village))) Very fabulous. It's a pity that my stay was limited to only one night. I chose this hotel because of the price of the room and its proximity to the airport, 20 minutes by taxi. I flew out early in the morning. The owner is very friendly and nice, always greets guests personally, is always ready to communicate and does it with great pleasure. Regarding the location of the hotel: yes, it's not on the front line, and not on the main street, a little further back. This adds to the charm of this place. The street with cafes and the beach is a leisurely 7-minute walk. You go out to the beach, and there is a super ocean!!! It really feels like something great, I haven't experienced anything like this on other beaches on the island. The infrastructure is fantastic!!! Lots of cafes of all kinds and levels, all with great prices!!! We'll definitely plan more days in Negombo on our next trip))) And I'll definitely stay at Gomez Place!!! About the room. I had a very spacious room with a huge en-suite bathroom and a furnished balcony. The room had everything you need: a safe, furniture, complimentary water, and a minibar with a variety of drinks at a minimal price.
