Hotel Nelson Reviews

The location is perfect, in the middle of Nelson bay. There’s restaurant and shops nearby. Need to de self check in as I arrive 11 pm. The room is ok, clean and big enough, with a nice balcony.

Room and toilet was spacious but the lift was spoilt so we had to carry our luggages to our room which was on the second floor despite the rain. However other than that, everything was good.

Clean , comfy, modern rooms, the most comfy bed I was on in the recent memory. Wonderful stay at the heart of Nelson bay.

2 nights only, didnt use any facilities. Satisfactory for our needs Parking can be challenging

No WIFI which also affected TV as none of the apps such as Netflix could be used. Someone came to check but couldnt fix. Kids with no wifi is kinda big esp considering there was nothing but local TV to watch at night. Nice heated pool (but with bottom paint coming off) and surroundings. Nice Toiletries

It is a nice hotel and is very near to the port where the whale watching cruises are. The reception is also nice enough to let us park the car after we checked out so that we join the cruise.

Similar to a guesthouse, it has free parking, you can cook your own meals, the environment is nice, and it's close to the seafood market and the pier. It's just a few minutes' walk to the pier for dolphin watching.

Convenient location, close to the station, department store and food street. The room is very large, with a balcony which is a plus, and it is arranged in a room close to the elevator according to the requirements! very good

Apart from the great location, it feels like a family hotel. The price is not cheap, and the elevator cannot be used. I have to carry my suitcase to the third floor... There is no service awareness at the front desk.
