Souli Beach Hotel

Never normally post about bad experiences because sometimes it’s unavoidable but this was just terrible, we booked a 2 night stay at the start of the year to extend our holiday, we even popped in to say hello and check our booking and request a quiet room as we would be leaving early on day 2 and wouldn’t actually be sleeping there that night, on arrival we were asked if we had booked on line which we had via love holidays, we asked again about a quiet room and was dismissed with a shrug and told that they are very busy so only room available is the one allocated, we took keys and went down the corridor to the room and I can only guess this was a room used for people to shower in on late check out or for staff to sleep in, dead hornet on the floor, dead flys in the bath and to cap it all the toilet had a floater in it. We had booked and paid extra for a sea view room and this room is indeed on the side the sea is but you can’t see it because of all the other guests laying round the pool so no privacy whatsoever. I went back to reception to check again that this was not a mistake and once again got the shrug and dismissed, he really couldn’t care less and I believe he is the owner! I imagine other rooms for people staying longer than a few days are better standard or the hotel would have shut years ago but my suggestion is avoid at all costs if you are just staying a few days. We handed the keys back and walked out as there was no way we were staying in such a grotty room.

Once again a lovely stay at mine and my sisters favourite place Andre's Elizabeth George and all the other staff are so amazing food excellent just perfect throughout see you next year thank you all for everything you done for us sorry we missed you Elizabeth before we went

We had been a couple of years ago and loved the area of Latchi & Polis - traditional Cypriot hospitality without the busyness of Paphos. We visited with friends and had a great week at Souli Beach Hotel - the inviting pool was very welcome as temperatures rose throughout the week. Rooms are basic but adequate for needs / comfy beds and hot showers Great restaurant for dinner / adequate breakfast choices each morning. Less than 10 minutes walk to the harbour for further restaurant / coffee shop choices and a sandy beach . Car hire gives the freedom to venture further afield if wanted although there is more than enough to keep you occupied in Latchi. Family run hotel - very friendly staff and great cuisine - lots of returning guests and we know why 🤫

First visit to Souli Beach Hotel. It most definitely won't be our last!!! We wished we had booked a longer stay!!! A wonderful welcome!!! We had a late flight and arrival, and we were welcomed with a lovely glass of wine, and pint of beer each. We sat outside, a perfect way to to relax and unwind, after a long journey, before heading up to our room. George very thoughtfully made us a sandwich, thinking we had missed the earlier evening meal, and must be peckish! He wasn't wrong, and the sandwich was gratefully received, and it certainly hit the spot!!! Our room was a sea view 2nd floor room, with a lovely glass fronted balcony overlooking the pool area. With great views of the beach. The room was spotlessly clean upon arrival. Then cleaned daily to a high standard, with clean bed linen, and lovely soft towels replaced regularly. The bed was lovely and comfortable to sleep in. A hairdryer, kettle and cups were provided. The room had spacious wardrobe, with a few hangers and some useful shelving. There was also a TV, but we never used it. The fridge was an extra few euros per day, as was air con and safe. We only used the fridge, and safe, air con wasn't needed on this visit. Half board stay was certainly the right choice for us! Breakfast choice was good, and food items replenished frequently. Latchi harbour is only a short walk away, with a few restaurants, if you want to eat elsewhere. We ate at the restaurant overlooking the beach, every evening, and occasionally lunchtime. The menu choice and food portions were excellent. The food was presented beautifully, we enjoyed every meal we ate! The staff were attentive, and friendly, they go above and beyond to make sure that you have a wonderful stay!!! Special thanks to George and Andreas for looking after us so well... I can see why so many locals enjoy dining here. ( Always a good sign.) And why so many visitors return year after year... The beach is very pebbled, and I would definitely recommend beach shoes. Lovely place to sit, swim, snorkel, or simply paddle, taking in the beautiful views.... The pool area has plenty of loungers, tables and umbrellas dotted around it; along with some on the grass areas too, perfect if you want a bit of space. The pool felt lovely and warm after a refreshing dip in the sea... We would certainly without any hesitation, stay again!!

When you find somewhere that is special , you want to stay , or come back as soon as possible. Well , we have found that place, exactly as it was described , but reluctantly we had to come home on the 11th May. We will though be going back either later this year or same time next yearThe staff especially Liz , her parents ; George , Andreas , Rose , and others in the taverna ; cleaning staff especially Georgeta , all play their own part in making it the hotel to come to. Right on the beach , from pool to the gardens everything is so right , looked after and cared for. We met some other lovely guests , all of a similiar age group , and would doubt that they will all say the same. Thank you for a wonderful two weeks.

Amazing location. Basic hotel but clean and functional with good room servicing. Breakfast nice for the first few days and then got repetitive - could do with mixing it up a bit. Food in restaurant ok but not brilliant - small portions and not a great choice. No classics you would expect to find on the menu. Pool good and nice to have a swim in the sea and then the pool as it makes it feel lovely and warm. Would definitely go back again as plenty of choices of places to eat and drink within throwing distance!

The 4th time we have stayed here now,&what a lovely place.Everyone of the staff are so friendly and helpful nothing is too much trouble.The rooms are cleaned to a high standard and are very spacious, it is in a perfect location right next to the beach.The restaurant is also excellent and very reasonably priced,would highly recommend.

We have stayed at the Souli Hotel many times over the last 20 years and always a warm welcome from the owners. Rooms are modern and exceptionally clean with daily cleaning. The sea views rooms are worth the little extra and have a super view of the pool and ocean. A perfect place to chill out and relax. We most certainly will be back again
