The room is small in size and has a toilet but the sound insulation is not good. If someone talks in the corridor, you can clearly hear the sound of convulsions on the fifth floor. Personally, I think it is okay in the corridor, but it depends on the individual. My friend who lives next to the elevator can also hear someone talking when the elevator opens. sound The room is clean and comfortable. The location is quite convenient. It's not far from the station. If you feel tired, you can take the bus. It's about two or three stops. There are restaurants and shopping areas nearby.

One night at Neuchatel to explore. Hotel very welcoming but room contained a frustrating coffee machine that refused to work properly... probably 'user error'! The bar downstairs was a very suitable fallback.

Better than we expected based on other reviews, comfortable and clean which is all we were really looking for at this price point; good value for Neuchâtel. Couple of annoyances: although the room has an espresso maker, you have to pay 1- CHF per coffee capsule (not mentioned on the property/room details) which I’ve never seen before in a hotel. Also the hairdryer in the bathroom didn’t work.

During my stay no tidy in my room, a lot of mosquito in room, very lack of room factiliy for example: water boile….and no change towel and bed sheet

The location of this hotel is good, close to shops and the lake. Unfortunately there wasn't any parking left so had to park 300 m away. The room was spacious, there was even a closed-in balcony. Dinner at the hotel was excellent. Didn't have breakfast.

I had to pay in the day of check in, while i normally pay at check out. A receipt or ticket were not available in €. The room was spartan but the toilet was freshly renewed.

Room spacious and clear, not AC but was very comfy Breakfast is apart but price is fair. Staff is super, they do any thing to make your stay happy. Very close from the train station and stop buses are just few steps from the hotel. Also you can walk to downtown and take a nice boat ride. Nice town and hotel.

This hotel is extremely clean with friendly and efficient service. It's conveniently located close to major points of interest and transport links (5 minutes from the train station and the city centre). A great feature was the bathtub - a nice touch in any hotel room. The bed was big and comfortable, perfect for a good night's sleep. The room was spacious, adding to the overall comfort. One downside was the slight noise you can hear from the floor, but it wasn't a major issue. Room service is provided every day. Overall, this is a solid hotel option for both business and leisure travel.

A dated hotel in a somewhat seedy area of the city center. Room rate was reasonable for this costly country, but quickly added up as breakfast and an unpublished parking fee added CHF50 to the bill. Getting from the parking garage to hotel is long/steep walk, and be forewarned there is no unloading area in front. No WiLAN unless you have a Swiss mobile number. Will not stay here again.

Thank you for an amazing stay. The staff were great and honestly made our stay so pleasant. The hotel room was very spacious and Clean. The hotel is within walking distance to all the gems in Neuchatel so glad we stayed here and will most likely stay here again when I next visit.

What a fabulous place to stay made perfect by the friendly staff who couldn’t do enough for us from the moment we walked through the revolving doors until the day we left. Ok it has an odd quirk but that somehow adds to the stay, bits of it might be bit tired but compared to the overall stay not to relevant. Spacious comfortable rooms at sensible prices. Breakfast was good especially at the weekend with again friendly service. Plenty of fresh food and choice. We’d read the previous reviews and were a bit concerned but having stayed can only assume previous reviewers don’t get out much. Our son who has stayed in several other local hotels was impressed and said he would happily stay there. Great place.

Recently visited the beautiful city of Neuchatel. Unfortunately, stayed at this hotel. The good: Good location and room was relatively clean. The bad: Rooms are tiny. Will take about a week to get my back right from the beds. No phone in room, one plug in the wall, no washcloths, the smallest bar of soap I have ever seen. Shower is tiny. Breakfast is horrible, bordering on inedible. Paid for breakfasts at check-in, but hotel refused to reimburse the breakfast cost for the last day, requested prior to the breakfast room opening. No means of cooling room without opening windows, but hotel is on noisy street that will wake you up if you leave the windows open. The entire experience at this hotel made my trip much less enjoyable. I would pay the higher cost and stay at the Beau Lac or Beau Rivage. Much more expensive, but worth it. Stay away from this hotel.

We booked a double superior room. Spacious, with a small balcony (rather a small winter-garden). But, the room is towards the noisy street - if you have a light sleep, you should close the windows. No air-conditioner. Enough space in the cupboards. The original contents of the minibar is included in the price, there is no refilling during your stay though. The bed will only be made if there is nothing on it. So, if you leave your night dress on the bed, it won‘t be done. Never seen such a policy before, but this was confirmed by reception.
