Activities and Facilities: The hotel offers a variety of activities, including yoga, hiking, art classes, and unique experiences like goat walks. The spa and wellness facilities, such as the indoor pool and relaxation room, are highly praised for their quality and contribute to a rejuvenating stay.

The issue with our stay was with the service, both in the restaurant and in the lobby. After being in communication via text throughout the afternoon getting questions answered and sharing our updated arrival team it was odd to arrive in the lobby and not have any staff available for check-in. I texted the number listed on the front desk instructions and after waiting 15 minutes with no response I walked into the restaurant requesting assistance. One of the restaurant staff offered to assist with check-in. He was very helpful but you could tell they were too busy for him to step away during dinner service. Checking into our room, we found used hair ties hanging in the bathroom, full of hair. We had multiple meals where the protein/main was cold - we did not bother to send the food back due to time constraints or observing the servers were in the weeds. If it had only happened once I probably wouldn't have said anything but it happened 3x. All of the scheduled activities were really lovely, and the people leading them were very informative, kind, and helpful. It's a beautiful place and is full of potential but our experience could've been better with some small changes to service.

There are so many glowing words I could use to describe the three days my friends and I spent at this absolutely fabulous hotel, but a slice of Heaven I believe says it all. On January 10th, I hosted 30 women for my first Wise and Wonderful Women’s weekend retreat. All the attendees are hard-core triple type A New Yorkers who are not easily pleased, including myself. Every one of us left feeling recharged, pumped up, and so impressed by the rooms, grounds, facilities, and food. The staff (led by Michael) took care of our every need from a warmer temp for the indoor pool to tailoring a healthy menu. They helped us place gift bags in the room prior to the guest’s arrival and even a crackling wood fire waiting for us at breakfast and a roaring gas fire in the room where we held most of our programming. I spent the night up there in advance this summer by myself, and it was awesome. I had a fabulous time and met some wonderful people who were also there solo. What a gem! It’s only an hour and 50 minutes from New York City and I can’t recommend it more highly. We’ve already booked a weekend in January again! Thank you all :)
