Dusit Thani LakeView Cairo Reviews

Rome was cleaned multiple times throughout the day, staff are very friendly and welcoming and the location is just amazing.

The hotel was great, clean, and the breakfast was delicious with a good variety. The pool was also fantastic. Overall, a very good experience.

Hotel is great, awesome location, lovely facilities and lovely pools

My experience at Dusit Thani was mixed. The hotel staff were excellent, very polite, helpful, and professional. The overall hotel layout is beautiful, the pool is excellent, and the free airport shuttle was very convenient and appreciated. However, the rooms did not meet the standard I expected. The room felt more like a 2–3 star standard rather than a luxury hotel. The woodwork and furnishings seemed cheap, the bed was only moderately comfortable, and the bathroom was very basic. The water pressure in the bathroom was very low, so I had to use the bath showerhead to shower, which was inconvenient. and the bathroom was very basic. I had to change rooms three times, which was quite frustrating and disrupted my stay. Additionally, small details such as the slippers and room finishing felt below expectations. Overall, while the hotel facilities and staff were great, the rooms urgently need renovation and upgrading to match the rest of the property. Noise from other guests throughout the night made it impossible to rest, and despite this being raised, the situation did not improve. Paying approximately over 400 Dollars for one night was not worth the experience. For a similar price point, hotels such as Four Seasons, Kempinski, St. Regis Cairo, or JW Marriott offer a significantly higher standard. I was also disappointed to learn that guests are encouraged to leave positive reviews, which can mislead future customers about the true condition of the rooms. Additionally, there seemed to be a cultural double standard. Western guests were told not to wear shorts or slippers in respect of local customs, yet some staff members and other (Egyptian) guests were dressed in very short skirts or revealing clothing. This inconsistency made the cultural rules feel selectively applied and confusing. No, this hotel does not qualify as 5-star based on our stay.

The room amenities were pretty basic, and the room itself felt quite empty and spacious. It definitely wasn't worth the 2000+ yuan I paid for one night.

A very pleasant and friendly stay. The staff were welcoming and good people.

Wonderful Dusit offers a true luxury experience with elegant interiors, a relaxing atmosphere, and exceptional comfort. From the refined service to the beautiful facilities, every detail made our stay feel premium and unforgettable.

Extremely satisfied, the environment is great, and the comfort level is high.
