Hyatt Regency New Orleans

Amazing location and amenities! Keep in mind it’s extremely inconvenient how fast the valet parking fills up. We arrived in town a few hrs after check-in, with kids and bags and were directed to park in a parking garage around the corner due to valet being full. Valet should be for paid guest so the fact we were paid guest and they didn’t have room was the first bad sign. Yes the parking garage is connected to the hotel but it was very inconvenient as the distance and pathway from the parking garage to the hotel area isn’t clearly marked. This was our first visit to this hotel so we didn’t know exactly where we were going while also toting bags and kids. The service was average as the staff does not inquire about customers who may or may not understand the elevator system, it took us 10/15 mins just to understand how to get on the elevator. We were in town for a concert and were quite busy and tried to get pizza delivered but the hotel stated they were too busy to bring the pizza to our room. Also our room wasn’t the best, the walls were peeling and including some holes.

Amazing hotel. The front desk workers were very helpful and check in took less than 3 minutes. The restaurant near the lobby has delicious food and drinks, as well as the other restaurants on site. Also a number of restaurants and bars near the hotel, but nothing too close to disturb your rest. Never heard a sound from any other guests during my stay. Bed was comfortable and the room was very spacious.

Good hotel. Very close to Coluseum. Near big Grocery store, tram station and AirPort Express.

The hotel is next to the Superdome, and the Smoothie King Center. If you are going to events at either place, this is a great location. If you just visit the city, want to see French Quarter, Garden district, City park, this is a little bit far by walking but don't worry. New Orleans has a good public transportation system. The RTA runs buses, trolleys, and ferries, all for $1.25 a single ride, or $3 Jazz Pass for 24 hrs. There is even a bus Line 202 goes to MSY Airport, for $1.25! The hotel room is kinda small, with big fancy lobby and restaurants. The towels were kinda stiff. Only 2 paper cups for in-room coffee (cheap)

Everything was great. The front desk stuff was very nice and informative. They gave me a two beverage per room and a 15$ dining coupon.

Location is perfect for everything we do. Employees are super friendly especially the vallet guys. We won't stay anywhere else when we go to New Orleans. This is definitely our spot for all occasions

Everything was great my only complaint was my shower was not clean had a lot of long blonde hair in it and was not cleaned for 2 of the four day I was in the hotel.
