Avoid this hotel. Rooms unclean, sheets looked unclean, one bedsheet looked like menstrual cycle accident had occurred, and there was a pile of used dirty towels in a closet of the supposedly clean room. We asked about parking, and valet very expensive - beyond average - attendant informed us there was a garage “down the street” half the price,(but still expensive for 1 night). We chose the garage. We had to carry our luggage approximately 1/2 block to hotel. The next morning we saw there was a garage next to hotel. The area was very sketchy, uncomfortable - including a group loitering with one person wearing a ski mask. There was a close by CVS we went to, an employee unlocked the door to let us in, then immediately locked it back after we entered.
We have an Aloft in our home area that was classy- this isn’t anywhere near that quality.
When we checked out, we asked for a receipt, was informed “our system is down, we will email the receipt”. That was 6 days ago, still no receipt.
We had other family members staying at DoubleTree, it was a better area, comparable price, very nice rooms. Totally regret choosing Aloft.
I wasn’t even comfortable complaining while I was there, we stayed to get a little rest and then got out asap.
