Cloud Hotel Riverside

We stayed at Cloud Hotel Riverside during our time at Tamsui. The room was clean and spacious. It took around 10minutes walk from the MRT.

The Cloud Riverside Hotel (Sees Revert / 觀海樓海景大飯店) primary value proposition lies in the expansive, horizontal vista of the Tamsui River. It is a space where the "external void" of the river helps quiet the internal noise of travel. My observations regarding the service reflect a common functional imbalance in the hospitality sector. The front desk staff appear to be operating at high capacity; one can sense the "overworked" nature of the role. While the rooms provide a stable base, the reproducible quality of the bed comfort and cleanliness could be elevated to match the premium nature of the view. The breakfast spread is commendable for its reliability. While it remains "consistent" (offering the same selections daily), it provides a balanced start for the day, though it may lack the variety sought by long-term residents. Taipei Main Station is easily accessible by the MRT Red Line, and frequent buses are just a 2-minute walk away. I'd recommend the Cloud Riverside Hotel for travelers seeking a scenic and convenient stay, even if it lacks a pristine, modern feel. It offers stunning ocean views and is located in a convenient location, though minor maintenance issues could be expected. Ask for a higher floor for the best "Mirror Effect" of the river, especially during sunrise and sunset.

It’s too pricey for this kind of room. And the receptionist staff not too friendly and hard to communicate. There is no tolerance at all with staff

The room is clean. Very accessible for bus.. The breakfast is good

Okay & But hotel need improvement the said clean person, which has miss keep slipper , also has not keep coffee / tea bag !

The place is really good and convenient. There’s a bus stop just in front of the hotel, and the train station is only a minute away, so it’s very easy to travel around. The staff are nice, friendly, and helpful. The breakfast was good too. Overall, I had a great stay and would recommend this hotel.

Had a great stay, near to main road but rested well. Room abit small. Limited parking lot so need to be back earlier. Friendly staff.

The receptionist was very rude. On our first night, he never mentioned that there would be an additional fee for the third person. The next day, he cornered me in front of my family and insisted that I pay.
