Charming Historic Stay with Remarkable Hospitality We had a wonderful stay at this stunning property. The building itself is a beautifully preserved piece of history with incredible charm and character. We booked the Hunter Suite on the second floor, which features a main bedroom with a large bed and an open area with two twin beds. The breakfast was exceptional—thoughtfully crafted with a choice of five delicate, delicious options. A special mention goes to the hotel manager, who was exceptionally warm, welcoming, and great to chat with throughout our stay. A quick tip for future guests and families: * Accessibility: Reaching the suite requires climbing to the second floor, and the suite itself features an internal staircase leading up to the main bedroom, which may be challenging for elderly guests or anyone with mobility issues. * Layout & Privacy: The two twin beds are located in an open common area. Because of this layout, anyone staying in the main bedroom needs to pass through the common sleeping area to access the bathroom, which can disrupt those sleeping in the twin beds. Because of the unique floor plan, this suite is best suited for parents traveling with children rather than multiple adults. Overall, a lovely experience that we highly recommend!

Marylands Lodge was indeed a splendid place with great exteria and interia design and beautiful decoration. All art paintings and photos on the walls were so stunning. The room was large and comfortable. All amenities were sparkling clean. Staff were very friendly and service- minded. Breakfast and coffee was so good. The location was also great as it was in the center where we could easily reach all places we planed for but in private and peaxsful area. We had a great time staying there. Sad that we had only a short stay there. We highly recommend Maylands Lodge to all guests who visit Hobart.
