Property Description
Chelsea, Ny is one of the most popular neighborhoods in Ny. Steps or a few blocks from every subway in the city. My building is pre-war, steal frame, quiet, you cannot hear anything. You will sleep and wake up rested. The 1920s entrance welcomes you. So many films and TV shows have been shot in this building. Plus many commercials. A few episodes from "friends" was filmed inside my apt, before I moved in. The building has enormous class and it's dynamic. It's like stepping back in time w/ a roaring 20s vibe. The neighborhood, minutes on foot to the famous Ny Highline, Meatpacking district, Chelsea Piers, plethora of rooftops/lounges and restaurants. Oh, and don't forget about all the museums and fancy coffee shops. The infamous Chelsea market is down a few avenues. Union Square up two avenues, farmers market, great shopping and people watching. Hop on the subway, 10 minutes to Broadway Shows or Times Square. Empire State, or Rockefeller Center (my favorite). Subway downtown, to Observatory, Battery Park City, Wall Street ... make sure you to visit Stone Street for a local beer or a bite to eat. South Street Seaport is finally complete and awe-inspiring. Take the NYC Ferry to Brooklyn or The Rockaway Beaches. Pay a small fee per person for the day and take the water taxis up or down the west part of Nyc - see the entire city via the water. You can hop on/off all day long. See the Statue of Liberty for FREE by hopping on the Staten Island Ferry, grab an ice cream and head back to the city. Tons of supermarkets and they are divine, from top gourmet to Trader Joes. Just across the city is the East River, magical views of our majestic bridges or walk along the seaport. So many options to select from. There is virtually not enough time to see and enjoy everything this magical city has to offer, but you can try. Please inquire about other things you might like to do and I'll steer the way.
