Hampton Inn Long Island City NY

The location is a bit out of the way, and the facilities are quite basic. However, the service was decent.

The hotel itself isn't bad, but it's not in the best neighborhood. There's more dirt and trash around here than in Naples. The staff are nice and polite. There was no fridge in the room, which was inconvenient. The shower couldn't be adjusted. The bed was comfortable. The soundproofing was poor. The Wi-Fi was spotty and often didn't work. Maybe it's not adapted for newer devices. On the second day, they forgot to restock the coffee capsules, so I had to ask the staff for them. And the thing I disliked the most was that they take a deposit and only return it after checking the room, which is really annoying!

This place stinks, and it's in a very inconvenient, remote location. It's surrounded by car washes, making the area feel quite unsettling and sketchy. For the same price, you could stay at the Times Square Sheraton for 200 less. It's completely in the middle of nowhere; seriously, anyone who stays here will regret it. The room was tiny, and shockingly, there wasn't even a chair. It's not even as good as a budget chain like Home Inn.

The quad room was tiny; there was barely any space to walk around once we opened our suitcases. The bathroom also leaked, with water spreading into the dry area when showering. When we asked the front desk for extra towels, they told us they were short on supply.
