An absolutely terrible stay! The front desk called us at 3:30 AM, waking up the entire family and making it impossible for any of us to fall back asleep. Completely unacceptable! This was an infuriating and bitterly disappointing accommodation experience. Around 11:00 PM, feeling a bit cold, I called the front desk to request an extra blanket. This is as standard a guest request as it gets. However, the hotel neither brought the blanket nor informed us in a timely manner that they couldn't provide one. Even if you didn't have one, what's terrifying is: At 3:30 AM, a male staff member at the front desk actually called our room to ask if we still needed that blanket!?! The phone rang continuously for about ten rings! We were already exhausted and dead tired, but because the phone wouldn't stop ringing, I had to drag myself out of bed to answer it. If the hotel didn't have any blankets, they could have simply told us! Even if they couldn't deliver one at midnight, they should have made it clear they didn't have any, rather than making guests wait for over four hours, only to wake the whole family up with a phone call at 3:30 AM! This wasn't just a simple service delay; it was atrocious judgment and a complete disregard for a guest's basic right to rest. This phone call had severe consequences: my husband was jolted awake and started experiencing chest pains, and our six-year-old child was startled awake and started crying inconsolably. This was the very last night of our entire trip to the US. We had hoped to get a good night's rest at the hotel, but instead, due to the hotel's outrageous handling, we experienced something at 3:30 AM that we have never encountered at any hotel before. I simply cannot comprehend how a hotel bearing the Marriott brand fails at such basic service judgment. Is this intentional poor service, or discrimination against Chinese guests? Not being able to provide a blanket is not unforgivable, but making guests wait for hours and then repeatedly calling them at 3:30 AM to disturb them is completely unacceptable! I booked this hotel through Trip.com, so I expect Trip.com to pay close attention and intervene in this complaint, rather than just logging a negative review. My formal demands are as follows: 1. A full refund for the affected night's room rate. 2. In addition to the refund, additional compensation to make up for the severe distress this incident caused our entire family. 3. A formal apology from hotel management, along with a reasonable explanation for the repeated phone calls at 3:30 AM. 4. I hope Trip.com will assist in following up on this complaint and push the hotel to provide a substantive resolution. I will not accept a merefunctory "We apologize for the inconvenience" as a resolution. This incident ruined our family's sleep, terrified our child, and caused my husband to experience chest pain after being rudely awakened. An experience like this should not be brushed aside lightly. A hotel might run out of blankets, but it has no business waking an entire family up at 3:30 AM over a simple housekeeping request! I urge Trip.com and the hotel management to take this service failure seriously and provide a clear explanation, a fair refund, and additional compensation. This stay was extremely disappointing and has made me question the management capabilities of the Marriott Group.

Convenient enough, the hotel shuttle runs to the airport every hour. The room was okay, and breakfast was standard, as you can see from the pictures.

The airport shuttle service is great. Although the breakfast is simple, it's satisfying and fills you up. The bed is very comfortable. Even though the room is a bit small, you can still open up a large suitcase. It's quite quiet at night, ensuring a good night's sleep.

You can't expect too much when staying near JFK. The hygiene was acceptable, and there's a shuttle directly to the terminal. Overall, I'd give it a 7.5 out of 10. If you're hoping to explore the area on foot, you'll be disappointed; the commercial district is desolate, the streets are a bit dirty and messy, and I wouldn't dare go out for a walk at night.

The room was clean and tidy, and the front desk service was enthusiastic. The only downside is that the room prices fluctuate too much.

Aside from the formaldehyde smell, indicating it's new, everything else was terrible. The hotel gave us a semi-basement room, and spending over 2000 for a night's sleep felt like a complete rip-off. It's nowhere near as good as the airport Marriott.

I read the reviews before choosing this hotel and was actually surprised that it had such good reviews even though the room size is relatively small. Now I understand why. The room is clean, everything looks new, and the hotel is very well maintained, so the overall feeling is comfortable and pleasant despite the smaller size. I also like that they have rooms with bathtubs. Breakfast is good enough, with scrambled eggs, yummy sausages, and oatmeal. The downside is that the shuttle runs only until midnight, and the in-room amenities are quite limited. I would choose Fairfield again if I need to stop by JFK.

The service was warm and flexible, and the breakfast was abundant with a great variety of options. The hygiene was also very well maintained. They offer complimentary airport transfers, and the driver was excellent, even arranging pickups late at night.

I had a brief overnight stay near JFK, and to my surprise, the front desk charged an excessive deposit. For the two rooms, one was charged $280.77 and the other $250. When checking out, negotiations were unsuccessful, and I still didn't understand why an additional $30.77 was charged. Thankfully, Trip.com customer service stepped in and got it refunded, explaining it was a duplicate tax charge. The rooms themselves were pretty standard, very typical American hotel fare – nothing exceptional, but nothing terrible either. The shuttle to the airport was quite convenient, but getting a shuttle *from* the airport to the hotel was difficult to arrange.

1. As an airport hotel, it's incredibly quiet. There's absolutely no airplane noise, probably because they use two windows for sound isolation, each with double-paned glass. 2. I stayed for 4 days and 3 nights, and the housekeepers changed the towels and teacups daily. 3. I encountered two shuttle drivers, both of whom were very friendly. They departed on time and picked up guests from the airport punctually, even dropping them off directly at their required terminal. 4. On checkout day, still wary from a previous bad experience with an Newark airport hotel shuttle, I booked my shuttle and arrived early at the entrance. Unfortunately, there were too many people and too much luggage heading to the airport. The driver proactively arranged for an additional vehicle to take us.
