DoubleTree by Hilton New York Downtown

Overall, it was a great experience staying at the DoubleTree by Hilton New York Financial District this time. The hotel is ideally located in the Financial District, just a few minutes' walk from the Charging Bull and Battery Park, and also close to the Statue of Liberty ferry terminal. The front desk staff were very friendly, and the complimentary signature warm chocolate chip cookie was delicious and fragrant. The room was clean and comfortable, the bedding was just right – not too soft, not too hard – and it was very quiet at night. The free Wi-Fi in the lobby was fast. There are many subway lines nearby, making it convenient for getting around. For Manhattan, the value for money is excellent, and I would definitely choose to stay here again!

The location is great, with multiple subway stations right outside the door, putting it right in the heart of downtown. It's just a stone's throw from the Wall Street Charging Bull, and Battery Park is just across the street where you can easily catch a ferry. The room isn't small, and for this price in New York, it even includes breakfast, which is excellent value for money.

This hotel is located in the heart of the Financial Street business district, close to Wall Street and the subway, offering convenient access to shopping and dining. The guest rooms feature a refrigerator, microwave, and Serta mattress throughout, and the hotel is pet-friendly. Guests can enjoy a complimentary breakfast buffet, a 24-hour gym, a self-service laundry room, and free parking.

The room is really small, and the air conditioning in this particular room is quite noisy, so light sleepers should be aware. The window offers a nice river view, which is a plus. I stayed for two nights, then went to Boston, and will be returning to stay another four nights. The hotel offers luggage storage, but it's only for the day; you have to pick it up by the end of the day, even if you have a future reservation. This really messed up our plans. We thought we could store our luggage overnight (the Hilton in San Francisco allows overnight storage), but we couldn't. We ended up having to drag two large suitcases to Boston and back, which was incredibly inconvenient.

The water pressure in the shower was too low; I couldn't even rinse my hair properly. I wonder how women with thick hair manage. Everything else about the hotel was great, including the location and the convenient subway right outside. Housekeeping was also very prompt. Overall, it's excellent. I always come back here.

Great location, and overall good value for money, but the elevator is a bit slow.

The hotel's location is excellent, right near the Charging Bull on Wall Street, very close to the subway, and also a short 5-minute walk to the ferry terminal for the Statue of Liberty. Staying downtown is much better than Midtown/Times Square. The room itself was comfortable, though not large, and a little dated. Soundproofing was average. The lobby, however, looked quite new. Overall, I'd still recommend it; it offers good value for money.

Came to New York for the World Cup. This hotel is right in Manhattan, on the south side by the Hudson River. The view only shows the Statue of Liberty. The price isn't too expensive, but the room is quite small and the soundproofing isn't very good.
