The Westin New York at Times Square

The room showed a bit of wear and tear, but overall it didn't really impact the stay. It was on a high floor and you could open the window, but I'd advise against it – I did, and there were a lot of bugs. A special mention goes to the duvet, which was incredibly comfortable; once you lay down, you just didn't want to get up. Downstairs, there's a subway station and the bustling Times Square, which is fantastic.

The location is fantastic, just a 3-minute walk from Times Square. There's a supermarket and restaurants right downstairs. However, you have to ask the front desk for some small items in the room.

Beyond its good location and a decent lobby, this hotel completely misses the mark on Westin standards. The room was small, but it was the outdated facilities that really stood out—the sink stopper was broken, and the hot water couldn't be regulated. Soundproofing was terrible; you could hear every conversation in the hallway clearly. For two consecutive days, the changed sheets had stains, and the gray blanket on the bed looked visibly dirty. The room's cups always seemed unwashed. While the staff's attitude was okay, my overall experience was extremely disappointing.

The hotel's location is excellent and convenient. The bed was super comfortable, I slept right through until checkout the next day!

Excellent location, and the high-floor corner room offered fantastic views. It was also relatively quiet. Breakfast was delicious. The service was a bit bizarre; they rambled on with some nonsense, with a subtle hint of superiority. In the end, they overcharged me $20 when returning my deposit, and it was never resolved.
