Park Central

The location is great, close to Times Square. Since I checked in late at night and checked out early in the morning, I didn't get a chance to see how far Central Park was. My room faced the street, which was a bit noisy as it was the weekend. The lobby was decent, but the room was small – there wasn't enough space for three suitcases. It was only for one night, so it was manageable. The hallway had a strong smell of smoke when I arrived.

My stay at the Park Central Hotel in New York was a great experience overall, especially for first-time visitors to New York who want to stay in a prime Manhattan location. The hotel's biggest advantage is its incredibly convenient location. It's very close to popular attractions like Central Park, Fifth Avenue, and Times Square, making it easy to get around on foot or by subway. For a trip to New York with multiple sights planned each day, this saved a lot of travel time. The hotel has a classic feel, with public areas exuding the charm of an old New York establishment. While the rooms aren't exceptionally spacious, they are practically laid out and feature comfortable bedding, providing a very pleasant place to rest after a long day of exploring New York. There are plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, and convenience stores around the hotel. All in all, it was a satisfying stay. In a city where space is at a premium like New York, being able to stay in such a convenient location is a huge plus in itself.

The hotel facilities are a bit dated. The location is excellent, right on 7th Avenue. Central Park is just 200 meters to the left when you step out. The service wasn't impressive, but the luggage storage was very convenient.

The location is fantastic, within walking distance to Central Park and close to the subway. It's relatively clean. American hotels generally tend to have older facilities, but this place offers great value for money and exceeded my expectations. Overall, it's pretty good.

The lobby is impressive, and they even have live performances on some evenings. Other than that, the elevators take forever, and the carpet in the room is so dirty you can't walk barefoot. Honestly, the place could really use a renovation, especially given such a prime location.

The hotel is really close to Central Park, which was perfect for fulfilling my dream of running there every day. It's also not too far to walk to Times Square, the High Line, and even the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Basically, if you don't mind walking, you can get to a lot of places from here. The room itself was generally clean and comfortable.

The room is spacious and even has a separate walk-in closet. There are shops and a Starbucks downstairs, making dining convenient. There's also a small gym. It's just a few minutes' walk to Central Park and MoMA. The Metropolitan Museum of Art is about a twenty-minute walk away. Carnegie Hall is diagonally across from the hotel, and Lincoln Center is a 10-15 minute walk. There's a subway station nearby, but for the Line 1, you need to walk a few minutes to Columbus Circle. Times Square is also just a few minutes' walk, so the location is truly excellent. The facilities are a bit dated, especially the elevators which frequently break down, leaving only one working, so waiting times are long. Housekeeping is just so-so. The lobby restaurant on the first floor has live jazz performances on some evenings. Overall, compared to other hotels, it offers good value for money. The older facilities aren't an issue for me.

The room was incredibly spacious, and the hotel's location is excellent. It's super close to 5th Avenue and Times Square, just a quick walk away. There's a supermarket nearby and tons of restaurants, which is really convenient. The room service was also great, very diligent and excellent!
