The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Times Square. The front desk upgraded us to a room facing the square during check-in, which was a nice bonus! 👍 The room was quite small. It was difficult to open two large suitcases, making it feel more suitable for a solo traveler; it would be quite cramped for two people. Housekeeping was quick to respond when we requested water. The breakfast restaurant had a nice ambiance, and everything was à la carte. The food was decent. However, the hotel didn't inform us in advance that there was a credit limit for breakfast included in our stay, nor did they mention it at check-out. We never received an electronic bill either. We only found out about the charges when we saw them on our credit card statement later. This process is really unreliable; I almost thought the hotel was overcharging me! This issue brings my service rating down from what would have been a 4.5 to a 3.5. Thankfully, Trip.com customer service was very helpful. We only learned the full story through their communication, and they eventually resolved everything perfectly. I want to specifically commend them for that! 👍

The hotel's location is excellent, and the doorman service was outstanding, definitely deserving a bigger tip. My main dissatisfaction was that the room didn't match the photos; there was no city view, just a dense array of other guest rooms directly across, clearly visible.

This was by far the most frustrating hotel experience of our entire trip to the US. The online reviews calling it 'Times Square's Motel 6' were absolutely spot on. The 'city view double room' as pictured online was misleading; when I called, I was told all double rooms have this 'city skyline' view. We paid an average of over 4000 for two nights, and this is the quality we got. To make matters worse, after sleeping there for two nights, my child was covered in bed bug bites.

Every time I visit New York, I stay here. The location is excellent, close to many attractions. The hotel ambiance is lovely and refined, and the breakfast is delicious. I especially love the Le Labo toiletries.

The location is fantastic, very close to Times Square! However, it gets incredibly congested! If you're taking a taxi and are still two blocks from the hotel, be prepared to wait over 15 minutes, it's seriously backed up! That's just how it is in such a central area!

I chose this Edition hotel because I've had good experiences with the brand before, but the Times Square Edition in the US feels like a budget hotel. The room was incredibly small, and that was just the beginning: 1) On the first day of check-in, the slipper bag was just tossed in the cupboard, empty – no slippers inside. 2) The toilet had no toilet paper, and there were old stains on the floor that hadn't been cleaned. 3) There was absolutely no service. I felt discriminated against. They were very polite to white guests, but for Chinese and Black guests, they'd just give a quick response and toss the room key at you. 4) The most serious issue was with my luggage stored downstairs. They gave me another guest's suitcase! They didn't do any checks or verification, just told me I could take it. Don't you care about your customers? 5) The staff downstairs only seemed interested in making extra money. While getting the wrong luggage was a problem, they kept trying to push an airport car service on me for $150, when a regular taxi was only $83. This isn't supposed to be a budget hotel. Can't you be more responsible and manage things better in the US?

The hotel is located in Times Square, which is very convenient for getting around.

They charged a $200 deposit daily, and it's been over two months since I checked out, but I still haven't received my refund!

Staying at The Edition again this year felt just like coming home. The front desk and luggage staff were incredibly warm and thoughtful, it was like seeing old friends. A special shout-out to Mr. Shah and Mr. Brian at the front desk – their service was impeccable, and they were so friendly and diligent. They truly deserve praise! 👍👍 We celebrated a birthday at the 9th-floor restaurant this time, and Mr. Ace was a huge help throughout. He took photos for us and paid attention to so many dining details. All in all, we had a fantastic stay here and hope to return next year! 😄

The hotel bathrobe was a bit dirty, with some hair left on it, so I didn't use it.

The location is super convenient, right next to Times Square, making it easy to catch a Broadway show. I especially loved the breakfast; the dining area was beautiful and the food was delicious. You can choose from breakfast sets or order à la carte. They even give you free tickets to MoMA when you check in! The hotel is only about a ten-minute walk from MoMA, and my daughter went two days in a row!
