Hotel 1080 Brooklyn

Located next to the metro line J, 20mins to manhattan downtown. The neighborhood feels a bit chaotic. There’s a bar on the ground floor and it gets noisy at nights. The room is not soundproof as I could hear clearly the tv program played in my neighbor’s room. Other than that, it’s a decent place to stay for budget solo travelers. Rooms are cleaned by default on a daily basis (as my main travel destination is Europe, where it would typically require an explicit indication if daily cleaning is needed.) The receptionist Raj was very nice and gave me a voucher for two drinks as a welcome gift.

Interior decor of room is one of the best that i have seen But hotel location, while near a metro, is in a seedy location so there are frequent siren calls. Walls are thin too, so can hear neighbours' loud voices. But staff like Raj were super helpful, kudos!

All the staff here at Hotel 1080 Are Absolutely Amazing! They explained all the Amazing amenities all around the property which are Basement for all the guess and Employees on the breaks! Designated Smoke room for smokers, beautiful lounge area with Flat Screen which is front of the Stage. They have an amazing bar! COFFEE & TEA ARE FREE at any convenience for all guests. Last but not the least I was able to have the choice of my room with walk in glass wall and door Shower? My room was Gorgeouslicios and I would absolutely recommend for anyone to stay here and make reservation at your convenience😍🥰😙🤩😘 I thank you for all the staff that assisted me while I was there for my needs of my questions which were all answered.

My first two nights on the 8th floor were excellent—clean, quiet, and comfortable. That is why I extended my stay. Unfortunately, my third night on the 2nd floor was a nightmare. The room was directly above a bar, with loud music and people shouting until around 1:45 AM. The room also faced the road and train tracks, making it very difficult to sleep. The hotel is clean, but I strongly recommend requesting a higher-floor room and avoiding the 2nd floor at all costs.

Aloha from Hawaii! Rahul the manager gave us amazing service!! I travelled with my 3 besties. It's our first time travelling to New York and so we were a bit nervous. He ensured us that it was safe and made us feel at home. Loved the free coffee and great customer service.

All the staff members were very friendly and helpful. Lerron, in particular, really won our hearts.

We felt safe / secure and the coffee was strong like I like it. The staff were all kind, polite, and helpful. The facility was renovated in recent history and is clean. The manager was very supportive and created a welcoming environment for all of us. The common areas create a community vibe that many hotels lack. Subway stops are two (M) and four (M, J) blocks away and it’s only four stops to Manhattan. We would absolutely come back again.

Honestly a wonderful experience especially for the price. Check-in did take longer than we had hoped, as the booking was for a 3:00pm checkin but we had to wait a half hour extra. Not the biggest deal. The two drink tickets for the bar downstairs upon checkin was nice! I was concerned initially about the noise from the bar and the metro station like some reviews said. We stayed over Sunday-Tuesday so crazy club music or bass was not an issue. We were on the 2nd floor, so the music during bar operation hours could be heard faintly but definitely not loud or annoying. The metro was also not loud or bothersome. Trains pass very infrequently during the night and even when they do, it’s not loud. Room was clean, had shampoo, body wash, hand soap, body lotion, hair dryer, and towels. Service was friendly and kind. The neighborhood isn’t amazing but I also did not have any interactions or experiences that made me feel unsafe. There is a convenience store next door. Overall, I recommend this spot as a budget stay! I am satisfied!

Hotel 1080 is a charming building attached to a fun and lively bar and social venue, located in East Williamsburg/Bushwick, a GREAT neighborhood for Brooklyn culture and nightlife. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and I had a peaceful, restful stay. That said, the room left a few bits to be desired. It was small, but that's to be expected of a low-cost hotel in Brooklyn, NY but some small changes could make a BIG difference. Particularly -- softer lighting in the light fixtures, a side-table by the bed (even a small one) and most importantly - better blankets! A few of these small investments would make a world of difference. I definitely plan to stay again (but will bring an extra blanket just in case!)
