Four Points by Sheraton Flushing

Arriving in New York late at night, I wanted a place relatively close to the airport, so I chose this one. It's quite new and clean. Decent overall. Pretty good value for money.

The location is great, within walking distance to the subway station. The front desk staff were very patient, and the room was clean and tidy. The only slight disappointment was that the breakfast area staff were not very friendly.

Right next to Flushing, so dining options are incredibly convenient. The service is excellent, and both the accommodations and facilities are top-notch!

Flushing, honestly, isn't known for great value, and the room was a bit small. However, the hotel service was excellent, really boosting my overall impression. Parking was a bit expensive, and there aren't many convenient options nearby. Other than that, everything else was good.

The hotel is very close to LaGuardia Airport. Upon arrival, you can call them for a pickup, and they'll be there in about ten minutes. Tipping is expected. The lobby offers hot water for tea, which is a big plus for Chinese travelers. The Chinese restaurant downstairs is excellent, especially the pea shoots. There's also a winery right next door, making it super convenient to buy wine. The surrounding area is full of Chinese restaurants, bubble tea shops, and even places selling soy milk and fried dough sticks. It's perfect for Chinese visitors to the US who are looking for a taste of home.

Just a heads-up: if you need to store your luggage, make sure to do it *before* you check out. They charge $4 if you try to store it *after* checking out – seriously, what kind of rule is that?! Also, double-check the address when booking. This isn't the Sheraton on Flushing Main Street; it's quite a bit further away from there!

The surroundings aren't super convenient; you have to walk a bit to get to the center of Flushing, but overall it's good.
