The Washington Hotel NYC

Great location, very convenient for getting around. It's better to book in advance for a more reasonable price. There's no kettle in the room, so if you like hot water, keep that in mind. The view from the window is quite nice, both day and night.

Great location, very close to the World Trade Center with convenient transportation and easy access to the subway. There are plenty of dining options nearby, and the service was good. However, the hotel facilities are somewhat limited.

This hotel is quite new, and both the room and bathroom are spacious. The two 1.8-meter beds are large and very comfortable. The wet and dry areas are well-separated and logically laid out. There's also a coat rack and a full-length mirror. The location is excellent, very close to the subway station. If you turn right out of the hotel, there's a hot dog stand that's perfect for breakfast. Across the street and around the corner, there's a discount store called RACK, where On Running shoes were on sale. The White House is about a 10-15 minute walk away. If you turn left out of the hotel and keep walking, you'll find coffee shops, Subway, and a pizza place. About 10 minutes further is a Trader Joe's supermarket, which has great prices and a very wide selection – I bought a lot of local specialties and souvenirs there before I left. The front desk even stored my luggage for me, and the deposit I paid at check-in was refunded very quickly after check-out. I would definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Washington D.C.

Traveling to New York, this hotel offers great value for money. It's very close to the 1 train and also has PATH access. There are convenience stores and Starbucks downstairs nearby, which is super convenient. Plus, the night view outside is absolutely beautiful!

How would I rate this hotel? First off, the location is absolutely perfect. There's a subway station nearby, it's right next to the 9/11 Memorial & Museum, and it's super convenient for getting to the Charging Bull and the ferry terminal. Once you leave the hotel, you can walk straight down the main road and see some of Manhattan's famous landmarks. From the ferry terminal, you can even catch a boat to the Empire Outlets across the water. The only downside is that the rooms are a bit old, but thankfully they were still clean, and that's about it. During our stay, New York experienced a thunderstorm with lightning and heavy rain all night. The next day, the main elevator was out of service, but the hotel quickly arranged for us to use the staff elevator instead.

This is my second time in New York, and I chose this hotel again. The room is spacious and faces the plaza. The location is great, within walking distance to the Statue of Liberty, Brooklyn Bridge, and Wall Street. The area is also relatively safe.
