I arrived at the hotel at 2:30 and checked in at 4:30. The standard check-in time is 4:00. Even if it arrived at 4:00, it was still delayed for half an hour. The reason the front desk gave me was that the suite is relatively large and needs to be cleaned relatively slowly. It is 40 square meters How big is the room? I'm also drunk for this reason, but it has nothing to do with the front desk. The cleaners are slow to clean, and the coordination in all aspects of logistics is very poor. As a result, even if the room is cleaned, the system may not be able to check in, because no one is going to update the information. We tried the ROYALTON because we were looking for a place in NYC with an outdoor swimming pool. And the pool did not disappoint! However the real highlight was the ROYAL treatment the lead concierge Erik gave to my kids - one of whom was starting college in NYC. Erik went totally above and beyond, planning in advance and leaving great gifts (totally spot on!) for them in the room. It was amazing and better service than I’ve had at comparable or even more luxe hotels. I also loved that I could text the front desk for assistance. Can’t say enough good think about Erik! Highly recommended. Especially great I think in summer to enjoy the pool. Unfortunately I ended up getting sick while in NYC so we couldn’t even try the restaurant but we will when we return!

Me, my husband and my friend got in a Tom which has two kings bed. The room is so spacious and with comfy mattress, pillow. The hotel is very nice that allow us check in early as 9am, we were so happy by that. Besides, this hotel could keep our stuff a day long after we did the check out. Generally, the hotel is better than we though, really recommend this hotel for everyone. :)

I really like the location, the view from the room is great, looking directly at the Williamsburg Bridge. In the Internet celebrity hotel, the swimming pool is small but there are many people. Although most of them are handsome men and beautiful women, there are still too many people, so I just looked at it from the balcony. . . Overall satisfaction!

Our visit brought us to the Even Hotel Brooklyn for a convention. We could not have been more satisfied. Everyone of the staff that we encountered was friendly, helpful and extremely professional. We loved the room. Perfect for getting work done with the stand up desk and ample outlets and ports. The whiteboard is a super touch. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom appointments were sensational. It was fantastic to be able to do a mini work out in the room each day with the aid of stretch bands and a ball. Parking was available overnight on the street by the hotel. Parking lot was not needed. THANK YOU to Cris in housekeeping for getting a piece of luggage returned that was accidentally left in the room. We had it back within 2 1/2 days of realizing that it never made it to the car. We can't wait to come back.

Not bad, it feels like the domestic all-season grade, but the quilt is a bit strange, each layer of the three-layer quilt is thin and separated when sleeping. Breakfast is on the sc floor, because the epidemic is of a take away nature. You can take as much as you like, such as bread, juice, coffee, and fruit, which is very monotonous. The only advantage is that the location is very close to where I am going, the exhaust ducts are very noisy when I go to bed at night, and there is low frequency vibration with my ears against the pillow. Security is quite safe. Although I need to swipe the card to enter the elevator room is not very sensitive, the elevator also experienced an accident. It was taken to the top floor without showing the specific floor. It scared me to go back to the room by the stairs. That's it, the advantage is location.

First impressions were positive - nice cool quiet lobby, seated check in and friendly staff. Despite my 11.30 am arrival, I was quickly checked in, but not before being informed that I was liable for a further USD 34 ”facility fee” which included cocktail hour, continental breakfast and Wi-Fi. This practice is a new and unfortunate way for hotels to charge customers extra while avoiding adding to the room rate. My fault for not having read the fine print, however, in this day and age when ALL hotels offer free WiFi, to say that it's covered by the facility fee is simply disingenuous. Further, in a city like New York with its plentiful dining options, charging guests for breakfast is simply a way of forcing customers to pay for a service which otherwise would not be required. I arrived at my room (721) to be greeted by a strong body odour which is common to Indian people. Air-conditioning was noisy and rattling, but I chose to ignore this as the hotel is clearly quite old, as evidenced by the retro fitting of the bathroom and the bedroom furniture and fittings. To be fair, the room (an entry-level ”Premier Queen”) was very spacious, with a 2 seater sofa beside the floor-to-ceiling windows and a queen-sized bed. Wifi was free and fast. I rang the Operator to ask a few questions and was addressed as ”buddy”, which I felt to be overly casual and inappropriate. On another occasion, one of the female recepionists was chewing gum openly when on duty - again, I wonder about the training and professional standards. The continental breakfast ”included” in the above-mentioned facility fee was acceptable in terms of variety and quality, if one could find a seat. The facility comprised several sofas groupted around low coffee tables, and several high-top tables and chairs. The seating capacity was clearly inadequate, judging by the queue of guests waiting for seats. For the price paid, I cannot complaint about the value, but I would not return to this property until a refurbishment has taken place.

Wow, great staff, great location for shopping, eating and theatre. Opposite the park with fantastic views. Check in was easy, friendly and quick. Super friendly and helpful. Rooms spotless, tidy and spacious. Views was fantastic over the park. Floor 7 was so peaceful, didn't hear anyone else in the hotel, heard no road noise etc. Restaurant is awesome on top floor with stunning views. A little pricey, but remember tou are in a high end hotel. Not a budget hotel. Staff totally friendly, helpful, cleaning staff as well Am absolutely stunned by everything. Loved it and felt very spoilt. I love the fact the staff on reception remembered why we were staying and also the bar staff remembered us as well. Top marks and cant wait to stay over again. It was ok; opted here for a better experience than the travel lodge. However we were woken up at 3am due to some issues in the hallway outside our room with other guests shouting. Can’t say I’d be returning as the security or staff weren’t the quickest at resolving so we hardly slept. Overall standard hotel nothing special. Also had to use another duvet as the beds were quite hard.

Though the connecting roads (Washington Street & Rector Street) are too narrow and too busy with huge traffics, on foot it was easy to move anywhere. Rooms were a bit compact and room service policy of the hotel are truly pity. But staffs were very much attentive and supportive.

It’s a hipster place! Very hip atmosphere, convenient from the subway station. Room is a bit small but I knew so it was ok, but it will be difficult to stay for more than a couple of nights (because it’s too small). Room is very clean and well designed, and has almost everything necessary for short stay. It has a small fridge as well. I really liked the place and want to come back next time, but wish the room was a bit bigger!

This is a 29 story hotel that only has three elevators shared by guests + staff. During our stay, one of the three elevators was not working and another one had an issue with the buttons. Would not stay again.

First time trip to New York overnight. The hotel was located well, and close to the places I needed to visit. Inside, it is certainly dated and dark. The lobby area was clean, and the staff very helpful and courteous. We got stuck in the elevators twice while there, and they seem very outdated. One of them kept stopping and ”re-booting” according to the screen inside. It certainly wasn't the best feeling to be stopped 40 floors up in an elevator that seemed quite old and made plenty of groans and squeaks as it traveled up and down. We didn't eat at the hotel, but opted to walk to Gallagher's near Times Square. A short walk for one of the best steak dinners I have ever enjoyed. The room itself looked nothing like the photos online showing bright and roomy features. It was a very small ”Deluxe king” with no real view. The wallpaper was coming off of the walls in many places. There were holes in the furniture and some small holes in the walls. Nothing horrible, but not what I was expecting of this 4 star hotel either. The carpet was thin and worn. The individual air conditioner control in the room was set on 65 degrees but I am sure it was closer to 85 degrees in the room. Thank goodness the windows could be cracked open a few inches, and despite temperatures over 75 degrees outside, the room did cool down some with them open. We had to sleep while listening to the street noise, but at least we were sweating less. The bed was probably as hard as any I've ever slept on. Very uncomfortable. Between that and the heat, we had a very restless night. The price I paid for the room was excellent compared to most other hotels in the area. It is very true that you get what you pay for in this case. The hotel and room served their purpose for the night, but when I do have to travel to New York again, I will be paying more to stay somewhere a little more updated and comfortable.

Because my son is studying finance, I booked this hotel on Wall Street. The twin room is very spacious. The hotel room has a microwave, refrigerator, and coffee machine (you can also get hot water from the coffee machine if you want to drink hot tea). I like it the most. Yes there is a laundry room. It takes three minutes to walk to the pharmacy, where you can buy fruits, food, daily necessities, and it is also close to the pier. There are many hot dogs, fish and chips on it, which is very convenient!

The lobby of the hotel is beautiful. The lobby is very good for the price in Manhattan. The rooms are not small. The staff will greet you in the corridors and are very friendly. Hotel is not easy to find because there is no awning (not allowed? no money?) to identify it. Many Uber drivers miss it because of this. Plus side, if you are departing on a flight at JFK in the morning and need a fixed rate car, the manager knows a good driver. Just try to arrange it the night before. See images to show you the state of the rooms I stayed in.

Come to New York to find this hotel. The location is almost on Wall Street. It is very beautiful. It is convenient to take the subway to Times Square without changing. The room was clean and tidy but the air conditioning was a bit loud. The sea can be seen from the side, which is still a very good experience.

Stayed for three nights. Our room was small and had an odd shape. Bed sheets and covers were very dirty, pillows not comfortable at all. Carpet could also use a deep clean. No mini fridge in the room. Wifi kept disconnecting all the time. Be prepared to wait at least 10/15 minutes for the elevator. This is a 29 story hotel that only has three elevators shared by guests + staff. During our stay, one of the three elevators was not working and another one had an issue with the buttons. Would not stay again.

The location is very good and very convenient. Also very easy to find. The room is large and the bed is very comfortable. The disadvantage is that the bathroom does not have an exhaust fan and the taste is not good. The room has a microwave coffee machine, nice.

Hotel location breakfasts are all very good, but the charges are arbitrary, it is clear that the room rate includes taxes, and a fee was charged in the middle of the night. I called the credit card center to know that the hotel deducted it. The room included three breakfasts. Eat directly. Who knew that three breakfast money was deducted when checking out. After negotiation, I realized that I need to pick up the breakfast roll at the front desk with the room card to get free. Otherwise, I will charge. Four days did not refund money. The tax deducted in the middle of the night and the front desk asked them to refund, and promised to refund it, and the actual operation was deducted again. Then go to the front desk and promise to check, because you have to catch a bus, you can only go to the station. It used to be commented that it was true that the hotel charged fees arbitrarily. Located on the 43th Street of Times Square near 7th Ave, the hotel is in an excellent location, very close to the subway, convenient for transportation, shopping and eating. The hotel has a small facade and is a typical traditional old hotel. The decoration is very tasteful, but the facilities are relatively old, especially the air conditioning. The old buildings in New York can only be installed with window air conditioners because of history and structure, so it is not recommended to mind the air conditioning noise. The hotel room is small and the extra bed is difficult. Breakfast is a typical light meal, the variety is monotonous, but the coffee is unexpectedly delicious. This characteristic hotel is small and exquisite, and people who like it will like it, but it is not recommended to choose a modern star hotel.

Hotel location was superb. Surrounded by broadway theatres, even with the ongoing noise from times square, the sound proof of the room was perfect. Is like a completely different world. Lift was a little hectic tho as had outsiders trying out the lift (and not knowing where they are going as the lift will only go to the level when we tap our card) but fun to watch.. haha.. room was big comfortable and clean. Housekeeping were great too. Overall good stay. If budget is not an issue, i would recommend staying here.

First impressions were positive - nice cool quiet lobby, seated check in and friendly staff. Despite my 11.30 am arrival, I was quickly checked in, but not before being informed that I was liable for a further USD 34 ”facility fee” which included cocktail hour, continental breakfast and Wi-Fi. This practice is a new and unfortunate way for hotels to charge customers extra while avoiding adding to the room rate. My fault for not having read the fine print, however, in this day and age when ALL hotels offer free WiFi, to say that it's covered by the facility fee is simply disingenuous. Further, in a city like New York with its plentiful dining options, charging guests for breakfast is simply a way of forcing customers to pay for a service which otherwise would not be required. I arrived at my room (721) to be greeted by a strong body odour which is common to Indian people. Air-conditioning was noisy and rattling, but I chose to ignore this as the hotel is clearly quite old, as evidenced by the retro fitting of the bathroom and the bedroom furniture and fittings. To be fair, the room (an entry-level ”Premier Queen”) was very spacious, with a 2 seater sofa beside the floor-to-ceiling windows and a queen-sized bed. Wifi was free and fast. I rang the Operator to ask a few questions and was addressed as ”buddy”, which I felt to be overly casual and inappropriate. On another occasion, one of the female recepionists was chewing gum openly when on duty - again, I wonder about the training and professional standards. The continental breakfast ”included” in the above-mentioned facility fee was acceptable in terms of variety and quality, if one could find a seat. The facility comprised several sofas groupted around low coffee tables, and several high-top tables and chairs. The seating capacity was clearly inadequate, judging by the queue of guests waiting for seats. For the price paid, I cannot complaint about the value, but I would not return to this property until a refurbishment has taken place.

First time trip to New York overnight. The hotel was located well, and close to the places I needed to visit. Inside, it is certainly dated and dark. The lobby area was clean, and the staff very helpful and courteous. We got stuck in the elevators twice while there, and they seem very outdated. One of them kept stopping and ”re-booting” according to the screen inside. It certainly wasn't the best feeling to be stopped 40 floors up in an elevator that seemed quite old and made plenty of groans and squeaks as it traveled up and down. We didn't eat at the hotel, but opted to walk to Gallagher's near Times Square. A short walk for one of the best steak dinners I have ever enjoyed. The room itself looked nothing like the photos online showing bright and roomy features. It was a very small ”Deluxe king” with no real view. The wallpaper was coming off of the walls in many places. There were holes in the furniture and some small holes in the walls. Nothing horrible, but not what I was expecting of this 4 star hotel either. The carpet was thin and worn. The individual air conditioner control in the room was set on 65 degrees but I am sure it was closer to 85 degrees in the room. Thank goodness the windows could be cracked open a few inches, and despite temperatures over 75 degrees outside, the room did cool down some with them open. We had to sleep while listening to the street noise, but at least we were sweating less. The bed was probably as hard as any I've ever slept on. Very uncomfortable. Between that and the heat, we had a very restless night. The price I paid for the room was excellent compared to most other hotels in the area. It is very true that you get what you pay for in this case. The hotel and room served their purpose for the night, but when I do have to travel to New York again, I will be paying more to stay somewhere a little more updated and comfortable.

Me, my husband and my friend got in a Tom which has two kings bed. The room is so spacious and with comfy mattress, pillow. The hotel is very nice that allow us check in early as 9am, we were so happy by that. Besides, this hotel could keep our stuff a day long after we did the check out. Generally, the hotel is better than we though, really recommend this hotel for everyone. :)

As a hotel choice near the airport, I think it is very good. Clean, everything that should be there. You can order the hotel’s meal and it will be delivered directly to the door. It’s hard to say how it tastes, but it’s good to deliver it to the door. The airport shuttle bus is very convenient. It runs every half an hour. Just go to the front desk to talk about it five minutes in advance.

The hotel is very good, about 5-10 minutes walk from the subway station, near the NW line, a little farther away from the E, NQRW line. The overall style of the hotel was old and retro. At the beginning, I was afraid of noisy on the second floor (actually soundproofed). The hotel helped me to switch to a 12-room room with a balcony. Finally, when checking out, the average weekly service tax of about 20 knives is collected every day.

The room facilities are complete and pleasant. Free yoga mats and foam shafts are provided. Morning and evening workouts can be played on the TV. Everything is related to the concept of fitness. However, the service of the restaurant electric lemon was really bad. When the breakfast was taken, the waiter gave the menu and left. No one came to ask for coffee or tea. After a few minutes to prepare the order, I couldn't find the waiter ... … Finally stopped a waiter passing by, I said I was ready to order, and she was still unhappy to ask me Are we in a rush? (Is it in a hurry?) This attitude and tone really made me doubt myself Not a five-star hotel.
