Hotels in Times Square, New York

The overall service attitude was good, and communication with the front desk was smooth. However, there's no free luggage storage, which was disappointing, and the charges for storage before check-in and after check-out were different... The room was very small; even after paying extra for a larger room, the double bed still obstructed the bathroom door. Plus, there was no light in the shower. The ongoing road maintenance outside was also incredibly noisy.

The hotel's location is superb, just a stone's throw from Times Square. The rooms are incredibly soundproofed, and the air conditioning is quiet, so I had a great night's sleep. There's a supermarket right across the street that sells hot self-serve food and salads by weight, at $14 per pound.

The hotel's location is good, within walking distance of Times Square. However, due to ongoing road construction nearby, traffic is very congested, and taxi wait times are long. The room is small but clean, though there's no complimentary drinking water, so you have to buy your own. The bar staff on the lobby level are very nice and provide free iced and hot water. The shower curtain in the bathroom shower stall is quite short and high off the ground, causing a lot of water to splash out when showering. One early morning, the hotel alarm went off; even though the announcement said it was a false alarm, it continued to ring intermittently for a long time before finally quieting down.

This is an older, established hotel with an excellent location right in Midtown Manhattan. It's convenient for taking the subway to the train station. I really appreciated the security guard checking room cards before entering the elevators in the lobby – it made me feel very safe. The room and bathroom were small, likely due to the hotel's age, and the poor soundproofing was a definite downside. The air conditioning was quite loud, but the temperature was stable. The view from the window was nice; you could even see The Edge. Housekeeping cleaned the room daily, and both the security guard and the housekeeping staff were very polite. I arrived from San Francisco at 10 AM, and it was raining and snowing and freezing outside. The front desk said I had to wait until 4 PM to check in, or pay an extra $75 for early check-in, which I couldn't do. Luggage storage wasn't free either; they charged $5 per bag.

Really enjoyed my stay at this hotel because the staff was fantastic from the moment they checked you in to the moment you leave. Staff such as Michelle and Frank were not only polite but friendly, and would go out of their way to help meet your requests or assist in your asks. The hotel's location was fantastic, within minutes' walk of several metro stations, and is of course, within walking distance to Times Square. The only improvement i'd suggest is for the hot water to be heated more quickly. In the interim, just turn the showerhead on for a few minutes before take your bath. Kudos to the team at Hilton Garden Inn Times Square Central!

I've stayed here twice, both times booking the same room type. The first time, my friend made the reservation, and we were both very satisfied. The second time, I booked it myself, and unfortunately: 1. The room was smaller than before; the previous one had a sofa, but this one didn't. 2. I was given a connecting room with the room opposite, and the soundproofing was terrible. I hope they can inform guests when assigning such rooms. If it weren't for the disappointing second experience, I would give an overall 5-star rating.

Located on the 43th Street of Times Square near 7th Ave, the hotel is in an excellent location, very close to the subway, convenient for transportation, shopping and eating. The hotel has a small facade and is a typical traditional old hotel. The decoration is very tasteful, but the facilities are relatively old, especially the air conditioning. The old buildings in New York can only be installed with window air conditioners because of history and structure, so it is not recommended to mind the air conditioning noise. The hotel room is small and the extra bed is difficult. Breakfast is a typical light meal, the variety is monotonous, but the coffee is unexpectedly delicious. This characteristic hotel is small and exquisite, and people who like it will like it, but it is not recommended to choose a modern star hotel.

The hotel nearby mtr, very convenient. This hotel is in New York city. Saves us many time to travel around in New York. It is better to live in long Island. The price right now on sunday to thru is bargaining. It is worth to live here from Sunday to Monday. Placing baggage services provided.

The hotel was warm and welcoming on our arrival.Check in was quick snd easy.we agreed a preferred floor for our stay and were happy to be given a room next door to our daughter and granddaughter as requested. The room was clean and bright and was changed on the days we required and always cleaned to a high standard. Breakfasts were busy even though we changed times to find a quieter time, however there was always plenty of food available and it was always warm. Everything was tasty and fresh. We were welcomed each day whilst giving our room numbers and loved the friendliness of those doing so especially Jennie. Tables were cleaned quickly and plates removed as soon as food was consumed The hotel is in a great location close to all amenities
