New Hotels in Deqin

"I scoured countless reviews online for hotels in Feilai Temple due to the crane issue and ultimately chose this one, and it turns out I made a great choice, haha! 😄 The location is excellent, right in the front row of hotels, so it doesn't obstruct the view. It's right next to Meili Wangshi, and while this one is slightly more to the left, it doesn't affect the view of the 'Sunrise over Golden Mountain' (日照金山) – the photos turn out the same. I stayed in a scenic view room on the top floor, the innermost one, and the view was fantastic. I only stayed one night though, so I didn't have time to just relax and watch the snow-capped mountains from the room. There's a rooftop on the fifth floor for viewing, and the hotel was quite busy, with many guests bringing tripods 👍. The underfloor heating in the room was very effective and cozy; the sheets and duvet were warm, which was really comfortable. I bought three oxygen canisters but didn't end up using them, haha, so I gave them to the driver in the end. I was so lucky to see both the Golden Mountain and the Silver Mountain! Perfect! PS: This young lady's skewers are tastier than Uncle Beard's 😄 (referring to the last establishment I visited)."

"The quality of a hotel is judged not only by its service during smooth times, but also by its attitude when problems arise. During my stay, we experienced unstable voltage, but the hotel's handling of the situation was exemplary! From the speed of response and efficiency in resolving the issue to the sincere communication, everything was impeccable. Minor imperfections in the facilities are inevitable, but such attentive and considerate service is rare. Kudos to their professionalism and sincerity! (The unstable voltage caused elevator malfunctions, and the staff proactively helped everyone in each room with their luggage.)"

"The owner upgraded us to a huge suite, which totally blew us away when we walked in. It had a tea table, sofa, large TV, oxygen concentrator, humidifier, smart toilet, floor heating, and an electric blanket. The whole suite was super new and clean, like a newly opened place, and it felt on par with a four or five-star hotel. The mattress was incredibly soft and comfortable. The bathroom was also spacious, and the hot water came on instantly, even showing the current temperature, which was a thoughtful touch. The owner mentioned they hired a five-star hotel designer for it, and showering there felt luxurious. The owner was exceptionally kind, enthusiastic, and great at hospitality. They arranged pick-up and drop-off for check-in, check-out, and even for watching the 'Golden Mountain in the Sunlight' phenomenon. When I asked about the 'Silver Mountain in the Moonlight', he even offered to have someone drive us there around 11 PM and pick us up again, which was incredibly accommodating. There's a restaurant next to the hotel lobby where guests get a 20% discount. We ordered a yak rib hotpot for two, and you could tell the meat quality was excellent – very flavorful, especially with the chili powder! The hotel's location is also great, less than a ten-minute walk from the Feilai Temple viewing platform. While the view from our window wasn't of snow-capped mountains, it was a beautiful mountain landscape, and I found it stunning. Pulling back the curtains and seeing it put me in a wonderful mood. The entire suite had many windows, making it very bright and airy. We originally booked for two nights, but our plans changed to just one, and it pained me to think we'd only get one night in such a comfortable hotel 😭. Seriously, I loved it so much; it felt like every detail was perfect. I will definitely recommend it to friends!"

"The Tibetan-style wooden houses are clean, hygienic, and economical. They are located 500 meters from Feilai Temple, a 10-minute walk away. Those traveling by car should consider this; it's a very affordable guesthouse with its own restaurant, offering comprehensive accommodation, dining, and transportation services."

"Benzilan, a traditional transit and supply point in Meili Snow Mountain, boasts numerous hotels, guesthouses, and delicious restaurants. This particular establishment was our choice after careful comparison. The rooms were comfortable, the breakfast was plentiful, and the owner was warm and welcoming. There was also a huge laundry and drying platform (see picture four), making it a great place to rest and relax during your trip. Highly recommended!"

"Coming to see the Meili Snow Mountain, I chose this guesthouse. It has a Tibetan-style decor that feels very high-end. The landlady was also warm and hospitable. In the morning, she drove me to see the 'Golden Mountain bathed in sunlight' (Rizhao Jinshan), and when I left, she even drove me to the bus stop. It's really hard to find a taxi near Feilai Temple. The food was just okay, enough to fill you up, but you can't expect too much when you're on a mountain. The accommodation itself was very satisfying, with a private small balcony which was really lovely. I was so lucky to see the 'Golden Mountain bathed in sunlight' this time. Wishing everything goes smoothly in 2026, and I hope the landlady's business prospers!"

"The facilities are complete and new, with underfloor heating and oxygen supply, and it's very clean. If you arrive by bus, the hotel offers a shuttle service from the drop-off point, and the service is impeccable. It's highly recommended for watching the sunrise over the ”Golden Mountain” at Feilai Temple. You can directly photograph the stunning ”Golden and Silver Mountains” from the hotel's fourth-floor terrace in the morning and evening. If it gets cold, you can just step into the cafe for a hot tea, avoiding the crowds and shivering at the observation deck. It's a fantastic experience. (For room types, the right-side rooms on the third floor are more recommended, as there's a red light sign opposite that stays on, which might affect your view of the ”Silver Mountain” at night.)"

"1. At four figures per night, over a thousand yuan a night isn't cheap. But the owner was stingy with bottled water, making you buy your own, haha. 2. The facilities are relatively new; the hairdryer is a Dyson. However, there's no TV, and the room isn't very large, about the size of a typical Ji Hotel room. 3. The complimentary breakfast is very simple. No drinks included; coffee, juice, and milk are extra. Breakfast consists of: a choice between rice noodles and regular noodles, a fried egg, and a side dish. 4. The view is great, and there are few people, so taking photos isn't crowded. 5. Hiking poles, crampons, and snow gaiters can be borrowed. However, most of the hiking poles are no longer usable. Finally, a suggestion: Since the price is high-end and the decor and view are nice, hopefully the service will reflect that. Don't be stingy; you won't save much money anyway."

"This B&B was a wonderful experience. The owner was warm and welcoming, and the service was attentive and thoughtful, making it a truly heartwarming experience. The hotel also has charging stations, making it particularly convenient for self-driving travelers. Dining options are conveniently located nearby, and the owner proactively recommends some. The room was spacious and quiet. The king-size room was comfortable, with a separate bathroom, clean and tidy, and excellent privacy. The best part was the view from the window, which offered a panoramic view of half of Benzilan. The view was stunning, both the mountain and village scenery were breathtaking."
