Dengba, derived from the Tibetan language, means "wisdom". It encompasses all dreams about travel and life, evolving from initial ideals to continuous transformations. Passed down from the beliefs of veteran backpackers to the expansion of thousands of inns, Dengba International Hostel is committed to becoming an ideal accommodation for young travelers and explorers, striving to balance comfort and cost-effectiveness. It creates a humanistic social circle integrating accommodation, coffee, casual drinking, reading, and other cultural activities. With a professional design team and unique design style, it presents exquisite落地 effects (landing effects). Every space material and every piece of furnishings is carefully considered.
Dengba International Hostel not only continuously optimizes the quality of accommodation but also pursues comfortable and diverse lodging experiences. The multi-functional hall's spatial design provides a venue for events and parties, regularly hosting super atmospheric activities such as barbecue gatherings, hot pot feasts, folk music performances, travel sharing sessions, movie screenings, and Werewolf games. Meanwhile, it is dedicated to creating a friendly service model where relaxation and freedom define the life at Dengba. We take every guest's important moments seriously, where new friends are made, dreams are reignited, and new years are welcomed.
Dengba International Hostel never claims to be cheap, nor does it solely emphasize cost-effectiveness, nor is it merely a temporary choice for budget-conscious travelers. Here, we hold different pursuits of life. Like a time capsule, Dengba International Hostel records the stories of every soul who stops by or stays long, sharing tales of life's journeys to different places. Here, we are recognized, trusted, treated equally with love, and become witnesses to each other's growth.
"I live pretty close by, and as a hostel enthusiast, I specifically came to stay for a night to check it out. The exterior is really misleading, but once you get to the 6th floor, it's truly a next-level hostel!
The lobby is very spacious, with plenty of seating in the common areas.
The facilities are comprehensive:
* Vending machines where you can buy snacks and instant noodles.
* The front desk sells disposable toiletries and coffee.
* There's a water dispenser and a communal fridge (for storing snacks, etc.).
* There are lockers for mail and food deliveries.
* Common area seating includes open tables and chairs, booths perfect for chatting with friends, a bar counter for introverts, a dedicated work area, and a private eating zone where you won't be disturbed.
The 6-bed female dorm has its own private bathroom, which was spotlessly clean (100%!) and incredibly comfortable (100%!). The bathroom has a wet/dry separation and even a double vanity sink.
The only drawback, which is unavoidable, is that there's an elementary school next door. If it's a weekday, the loud broadcasting for the flag-raising ceremony and morning exercises will definitely wake you up. So, it's not suitable for super late sleepers. You really need to be understanding about this point."
