Hotel near Theatreland,London
With a stay at Zedwell Capsule Hotel, Piccadilly Circus in London (London City Centre), you'll be steps from Piccadilly and 3 minutes by foot from Piccadilly Circus. This hostel is 0.4 mi (0.6 km) from Trafalgar Square and 0.2 mi (0.4 km) from Leicester Square. Featured amenities include express check-in, a 24-hour front desk, and an elevator. Make yourself at home in one of the 965 guestrooms. Complimentary wireless internet access is available to keep you connected. Bathrooms with showers are provided.

"I stay at Zedwell occasionally for one reason: the £34 price tag in central London is unbeatable. However, don't be fooled by the ”Hotel” in the name. This is a capsule hostel that suffers from an identity crisis, offering neither the service of a hotel nor the amenities of a decent hostel. Navigating the building is an experience in itself. With its endless identical doors and confusing layout, it feels like the Honeycomb Maze from Takeshi's Castle—I was afraid a guard would pop out and spray me with a fire extinguisher. To add to the atmosphere, parts of the building look like a construction site, though it's unclear if any work is actually happening. If you make it to your room, the basics are fine. The mattress is comfortable, and the sliding doors offer better privacy than the curtains at typical hostels. However, maintenance is spotty—my USB-C port was broken, and the tissue dispenser in the toilet is so poorly designed you have to forage inside it with your fingers just to get some tissue out. The real issue is that Zedwell charges ”hotel” prices for ”hostel” basics. Actually, that is unfair to hostels—competitors like Wombats or St Christopher's usually provide hair dryers, lockers, and luggage storage for free. Zedwell exploits the captive audience: £8 for a padlock (You cannot lock your pod without one). £5 to rent a single towel. £10 to rent a hairdryer. £15 for luggage storage. £20 for late checkout (standard checkout is a harsh 10 am). Extra fee if you want your sheets changed sooner than every 4 days. If you book this expecting a standard stay (needing a towel, safe storage for your things, and a 12 pm checkout), that £34 bargain effectively becomes £77, and even more if you need luggage storage or fresh bedding. Only stay here if you treat it like an indoor campsite—because behind the attractive photos of private capsules, that is essentially what it is. Bring your own towel, padlock, and toiletries, and get out by 10 am. Otherwise, you are paying a premium for a below-average experience."

"Perfectly comfortable hotel for a one night stay in London. Like many more reasonably priced places the actual building interior is a little older, but the rooms are very clean, good showers albeit small with spotless bathrooms - and have TVs, kettles, some toiletries and air con. Price was excellent particularly when having to book rooms last minute like myself. Excellent value for money."

The Standard’s first hotel outside America, set in the former Camden Town Hall Annex in King’s Cross, features 266 guestrooms in 42 unique styles—from Cosy Core rooms to terrace suites with outdoor bathtubs overlooking St Pancras station.

"### Review for The Standard Hotel, London I recently stayed at The Standard Hotel in London and had a great experience. The location is fantastic, situated right next to St. Pancras Station, which offers incredible convenience for travelers. The proximity to the station also provides amazing views, especially of the stunning architecture of St. Pancras. The hotel staff were exceptionally nice and welcoming, making the check-in and overall stay pleasant. They were always ready to assist with any queries and provided excellent service throughout my visit. The rooms are well-designed and comfortable, although I found the tone to be a bit on the darker side. This might be a matter of personal preference, but it did add a unique, cozy atmosphere to the room. Overall, The Standard Hotel is a great choice for anyone looking for a convenient and stylish place to stay in London. The prime location, beautiful views, and friendly staff make it a standout option."

"I think CitizenM is one of the two or three best hotel chains in Europe. For example, I stayed for the one in Copenhagen for total probably over 30 days in total This London member of the chain was OK but below average for this hotel chain. The biggest disappointment was the breakfast probably the most humble of any four-star hotel I’ve been in. And the à la carte menu was even worse. And it is on the wrong side of the river as several other Americans noticed it certainly did not help I feel welcome. For example, two of the staff kept making jokes about America and American tourists being loud obnoxious and too casually dressed."
