"This was my first stay at Sheraton Hotel Johor Bahru, and as someone who places a lot of value on customer service, the team genuinely exceeded my expectations. Across multiple departments, the staff consistently showed a positive attitude, thoughtful consideration, and a clear willingness to go the extra mile for guests. During breakfast, staff regularly greeted us and checked in to see if we needed anything. Even during peak hours, another team member managed the lift flow smoothly so the lifts could be used more efficiently. I also appreciated how staff didn’t just point us in a direction—they guided and accompanied us to available tables, which made the whole experience feel warm and well-organised. My family was especially tired after arriving late at night, and we were momentarily lost while trying to find the reception lobby on Level 5. The security guard responded to our questions with patience and grace, and that same welcoming energy continued during check-in. The guest relations officer answered my breakfast questions with such kindness and a big smile—even when I was experiencing serious brain fog (lol!). It’s these small, consistent acts of care—paired with genuine positivity—that set this hotel apart. I also completely understand how Sheraton Hotel Johor Bahru lives up to its reputation as a family-friendly hotel. We spotted the kiddie pool with water slides, and Mizan had an absolute blast splashing and playing there. The pool area itself felt thoughtfully planned—well laid out, with facilities that made it easy to enjoy the space while still feeling calm and relaxing. The room delivered too, especially in comfort and cleanliness. The bed was incredibly inviting (the kind you immediately want to melt into), and the overall bedroom layout felt cozy and well designed—simple, comfortable, and easy to settle into after a long day. One more thoughtful touch that really stood out: the hotel even had a balloonist on-site creating balloon designs for the children. Honestly—what family-friendly hotel goes the extra mile to do that? It was such a simple but brilliant idea, and you could see how much it delighted the kids. His balloons definitely made the young guests happy, and it added an extra layer of joy to the whole stay. Unmatched customer service, family-friendly facilities, and cozy hotel rooms all in one place? Sheraton JB tops my list."

"This is my second time here, good for short stay, clean room. The only matter is the parking lot was difficult to get, the hotel don't have customer reserved parking lots. If you come during weekdays, you have to pay for your parking lot."

"The service was impressive, Jeff made sure that we're okay throughout our stay. He replied to all our queries with professionalism; responsive and helpful. He provided detailed check-in and room instructions. The unit is clean and pleasant to the eyes--- we did not encounter any problems at all. The place is accessible to everything and easy to locate. Definitely would like to stay in the unit again. Thank you for the amazing service and amenities!"

"We had a pleasant stay overall. The unit was clean upon arrival and suitable for our small family, although it felt slightly smaller than what the photos suggested. The home was equipped with basic necessities, but a few additions would improve comfort — such as extra floor mats for inside and outside the bathroom, and a small shelf or ledge in the toilet to place toiletries, as space there was quite limited. As the building appears to be new, there was some construction noise in the mornings, so light sleepers may want to take note. The bed was comfortable, though additional pillows would make the stay more comfortable, as two per bed felt insufficient. At over $400 for three nights, the pricing felt a little on the higher side given that some amenities could be improved. That said, the stay was decent overall, and we hope to see enhancements as the property continues to develop."

"I’ve seen this hotel many times, but this was our first stay and I was pleasantly surprised. It’s probably one of the better hotels in JB, especially for its affordable price. This  2-bedroom, 2-bath unit is spacious and comes with a proper kitchen, utensils, and a washing machine. It’s a serviced apartment with a sea and greenery view. The place is quiet, clean, and well maintained. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the WiFi is better than most hotels in the area. There is a nearby supermarket, The Pasar, and several restaurants along the lake, which makes it very convenient for meals and groceries. One suggestion for improvement: there are many switches for the lights, air-conditioning, and fan. It would be helpful to label them so guests don’t have to guess which switch controls what."

"We took one queen sized bed room, it is a very simple room, only a queen sized mattress with no tv and table or cupboard etc. It has a window but the window is not facing outside, the window is facing the corridor so it has no different whether to open or close the window. It had a small washroom in the room with water heater but i think the heater is not hot enough. Hope that te management could put more attention on maintainence because the washroom door screws have come off and therefore the door is not fully in right position and could see through the person inside the washroom a little 😅 I like they have daily housekeeping and trustable cleaners there. They are very kind and friendly 😊"

"Got a good deal for this fairly new hotel. Check in was smooth. Room was clean. I was already aware Medini doesn't have much to offer so I just stayed in and enjoy the amenities and the bed. Breakfast was ok. Can be improved by offering unique dishes."

"I took a detour to Johor Bahru on my way back to China from Singapore for the Chinese New Year. The receptionist was very nice, and the view overlooked the city center and the bay. It was quite comfortable, except the showers didn't have hot water."
