We've now visited this pub twice and have been disappointed with the food on both occasions. On our first visit, we ordered the prawn sandwiches. The bread was stale and dry, with very little dressing and only a handful of tiny prawns—barely enough to count on one hand. The second time, we tried the fillet steak sandwich. It arrived in a toasted burger bun with just a few slices of meat and some fried onions. The side salad was very limp, consisting of a few greens, one slice of cucumber, and half a cherry tomato. The French fries came served in a tin cup. Overall, both meals were poor and offered very little value for money. That said, the pub itself has a nice vibe and the staff are all friendly and welcoming. The beer garden is pleasant, but be careful—some of the tables and chairs are quite old and feel unsafe. We won't be eating here again, but we might pop in for a drink in the future.
