Travelodge Newcastle Gosforth

Room was very nice, cleanliness was great, shower pressure was abit poor but did the job :)

What a lovely place Travelodge Gosforth Newcastle upon Tyne is. The room was spotless and the housekeeping team the best! Reception staff very helpful and just lovely. A true credit to Travelodge. We had 3 lovely weeks due to having works done at home. We can highly recommend the doorstep amenities. An ASDA petrol station, The Falcon's Nest pub (Great food & a Pint him indoors says) Mimi's Ice cream factory, Costa, Subway & McDonald's. Drive an electric car? Instavolt Charging points a-plenty. Seriously, you won't be disappointed with Travelodge Gosforth & their dog friendly too. 🦮

Great location, lots of amenities (macdonalds/costa/subway on the doorstep, clean room , friendly check in & check out , surprisingly quiet given everything around it , comfy bed . Plenty of parking, large grassed area if your staying with dogs . Would definitely stay again .

Very dated poorly maintained rooms in desparate need for refurbishment. No lift and no family rooms on ground floor so dosent cater for disabled families very well, poor 30 minute wifi compardd to.other places, got assigned thos with work nut will be avoidimg in future

My family spent two weeks here due to my father being taken ill on holiday, everyone that worked here were so friendly, helpful and kind. I had some nice chats with the fantastic Mary now and then which was nice, the rooms were clean and comfortable, the pub on the doorstep offers incredible food! Mcdonalds, Costa, Asda, Subway all within metres! Thank you to everyone for looking after us.

As travelodge goes, this one was really good. Next to food and drink facilities, plenty of parking, only a few minutes from a metro station by car with loads of cheap parking if you are visiting the city. Couple of hundred yards from A1 so good base for driving to other places.

Very good and comfy overnight stay. Conveniently located for the race course with a pub next door and other fast food outlets if needed.

check in was awful, for the second time now. It's the only Travelodge in the UK where you can't check in a few minutes early unless you pay extra. But there is nowhere to sit, and no toilet, despite this being on a main road after a long drive. This was on a Sunday, too, with absolutely noone there. It's ridiculous, and very annoying.

The only travelodge in the UK that wouldn't let me check in a few minutes early after a long drive. Nowhere to sit or use a toilet. Completely empty hotel on a Sunday.
