I've stayed in quite a few hotels around the world, but this is the first time I've written such a lengthy review.
1. I paid an $1,800 deposit upon check-in. The next day, without informing me, the hotel pre-authorized over $2,000 without any purchases. There were even two more transactions after that. The front desk was clueless when I asked, and when I asked, they said it was a mistake and would release it (I haven't refunded all of them yet).
2. I received an invoice before check-out, and it listed a lot of drinks I didn't touch. After contacting the front desk, they did refund them, but they also charged me an extra $672.74... Upon inquiry, they said it was a mistake, and told me to wait for the refund. I didn't receive a single apology for this series of misuse of my credit card.
3. Housekeeping knocked loudly on my door at 8 or 9 a.m. on weekends, and then refused to come unless I called for cleaning. This happened at least three times.
4. From the front desk to Valet, 80% of the hotel staff gave me a subtle, unpleasant feeling of being fake polite. I stayed there for ten nights, and each time I stayed, I became increasingly annoyed. I don't know if they're being rude to Asian people, or if they think they're too classy to provide service.
5. There are all sorts of bizarre parties on weekend nights. At 10 PM, there were a bunch of non-guests drinking and chatting by the pool (it usually closes at 6 PM). It was really noisy. Is this a hotel or a nightclub?
If it weren't for health reasons that made it difficult to stay, I'd rather lose a few nights' worth of room and check out early.
If you still choose to stay here after reading these reviews, I can only say good luck...
