THE NICI Newquay

We had an absolutely incredible stay at the Nici Hotel and can't recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, every member of the team made us feel genuinely welcome, and the level of service was exceptional throughout. A special thank you to **Ryan**, who went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. He thoughtfully arranged our beautiful room, organised a wonderful spa experience as an extra surprise, and even booked our surf lesson. His attention to detail and outstanding hospitality really made all the difference. The surf lesson with **Dan** was one of the highlights of our trip. He was a fantastic instructor—patient, encouraging, and great fun—making the experience enjoyable for everyone, whatever their level. A huge thank you as well to **Mathew** and **Mapat** in the bar and restaurant. Their warm, friendly personalities and exceptional service made every meal and drink a real pleasure. The spa experience was simply outstanding, and **Izzy** gave one of the best massages I've ever had. Her skill, professionalism, and calming approach left me feeling completely relaxed and rejuvenated. Every member of the team made us feel valued, and it's clear they genuinely care about creating memorable experiences for their guests. Thank you all for such a fantastic stay, we're already looking forward to coming back!

Despite a few early problems, our overall experience at The Nici Newquay has been amazing. The team went above and beyond to make sure everything was put right, and from that point on the service was outstanding. A special mention to Matt L, who was incredibly friendly, professional, and a real credit to the hotel. His excellent customer service really made a difference. The spa team were also incredible, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely committed to making my visit as relaxing as possible. Overall, I had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend The Nici Newquay. Thank you to everyone for turning our experience into such a memorable one.

We booked the restaurant for a large group for my husbands 40th Birthday - the evening started with drinks on the terrace and onto the private dining room for our meal. The staff were excellent especially Sydney who helped me to arrange the evening. Nothing was too much trouble. The views are breath-taking, drinks and food were the best we have had in a while. The atmosphere is great - beautiful without it feeling 'stuffy'. We are planning to visit again (from Derbyshire) to experience the hotel and spa and make the most of everything The Nici has the offer. Excellent place - we all felt we had found a real gem here - 10/10 from the rather large group we arrived with!

We live just outside Newquay and joined the gym. The experience has been wonderful. Gym is lovely and equipment is all TechnoGym and so easy to use. Ollie the PT was extremely helpful setting us up. We had coffee on the terrace after our session in the gym which was amazing sitting out in the sunshine on a beautiful terrace with stunning views. The hotel staff are amazing can’t do enough for us to feel welcome. The restaurant is so beautiful decor and tables spaced nicely. We will look forward to our first meal there. Pool opens on 5th August and we will look forward to it. Highly recommend this hotel in the centre of Newquay. A must visit. Glad I’m a gym member and can enjoy the wonderful facilities and a full facial treatment booked and looking forward to it.

The hotel is still in the throws of a complete renovation, the works to date show that the owners have set a very high bar in all areas. Whilst you could not fail to notice the ongoing works it does not detract from the experience. The lounge, bar, restaurant and many other facilities such as the cinema and spa are all available for use. The room we are staying in is furnished to a very high standard and the batclhroom has a lovely modern feel to it, and a very large walk-in shower. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is without a doubt one of the the highlights of the stay. To date we have tried the crab pasta, shrimp and crayfish salad, smash burgers and fish and chips. They have all been truly fantastic. I can only assume the hotel is aiming for Michelin recognition, it would be well deserved. Breakfast is a grand affair with a good selection of continental fair as well as cereals and various cooked options. Having stayed at most of the better hotels in the area I can comfortably state that no other hotel in Cornwall comes close.

I stayed at the Nici hotel with my family . It certainly is 5 star it was so wonderfuly relaxing . Everything was perfect and the service and food was second to none . I must also mention the Spa so beautiful and professional I had the most amazing facial from a lady called Alisha it was just fabulous thanks to all for making our stay memorable .

Myself and two friends booked a spa treatment. Two of us had facials with Izzy and Ami, and then Izzy carried out an energize massage on my other friend. We all felt so relaxed after. The whole experience was amazing and our skin was glowing. Thank you so much we will be back!
