Annie is an amazing host and we felt so welcome during our stay here. We were only passing through for one evening, but enjoyed a wonderful dinner (pre-ordered in advance) and a filling and tasty custom breakfast. It was lovely to meet other couples staying there as well. The property is beautiful and extremely calm, quiet and relaxing.

My wife Fran and I stayed at the Crubenbeg Country House on our recent Scottish road trip. What an incredible find it turned out to be. It is set in a stunning peaceful location with incredible views and Annie is the perfect host. We were made to feel so welcome from the moment we arrived and felt truly blessed to be staying in this beautiful home. Annie cooked us a wonderful dinner, which we had pre-ordered, as well as a great bespoke breakfast the following morning. I even got to see a red squirrel on the lawn before we had breakfast ! We would thoroughly recommend the Crubenbeg to anyone travelling in the area and we will most definitely stay there again whenever we return to that part of the country. Thank you again Annie for looking after us so well and making our visit so memorable.

Wonderful stay for the Easter weekend at Annie's B&B. The location was fantastic with a beautiful walk by the water nearby. The full Scottish vegetarian breakfast was amazing. Thank you making it such an enjoyable experience. We will be back

Just back from a wonderful stay, the surroundings are beautiful, the house itself is warm, welcoming and spotlessly clean. We so enjoyed curling up by the fire in the lounge in the evening and the bed was so comfortable. Annie couldn’t have been more welcoming or helpful, breakfast was excellent especially with the view out to the bird feeder so we could admire the wildlife while we ate. We look forward to the next time we have an excuse to visit!

We spent a couple of days here over the New Year. The scenery was breathtaking and our room was spotless and cosy. Although activities are limited at this time of year we enjoyed the lovely walks in Glenmore Forest Park along with Karting in Aviemore. We would highly recommend staying here.

A wonderful place to stay and Annie was a superb host. Tucked in beautiful woodland near some very special water falls of Truim. Quiet and luxurious. Main road to Inverness one side and Fort William the other, it was a superb location. Couldn't hear the road at all. It had a beautiful garden with a resident red squirrel who came daily to feed from bird table. The room was spacious and had a very comfortable four poster bed. En suite was perfect. Breakfast was wonderful. The hotel is dog friendly and so that we could both eat together, Annie's friend took our boy for a walk. Nothing was too much and Annie came to our rescue with such kindness when we got a call to say our dog's recent teeth operation had found a cancerous growth. Cannot recommend Crubenbeg enough. Plenty off places to see and visit all around. Two RSPB sites close by. Little village is gorgeous and worth stopping and going for a walk. People are so friendly and happy to help you Don't rely on Sat Nav to find the turning as the post code is further up the main road on opposite of the road. If you are coming from Fortwilliam then turning is on your left, Military Road, take the right hand fork in the road over the bridge and up to the hotel.

Having stayed here before, we were not disappointed that the usual high standards were still flying high on Annies list. We were met with a wonderful cheery smile and made to feel welcome from the start of our visit. Our room was clean and tidy and as we had stayed in this one before, our two small dogs knew exactly where to go (very dog friendly). We love it up here at this time of year and there is always a chance of snow, which we got and also minus 11C according to the weather app. The log fire kept us warm and cosy in the lounge although we did have to get some warmer clothing in Aviemore as didnt bring enough layers. Always plenty of places still open even at this time of year, to go and eat or visit, but need to dress up warm if the chill sets in. Crubenbeg is the perfect place to go and explore from and the falls just down the road are perfect this time of the season. You can book a meal in advance but Annie does a mean Pannini meal which is more than adequate of an evening if you have had a meal out during the day and there is also now the licenced bar so can have a couple of scotch's before bedtime. We are returning next year and incorporating this into one of our NC500 hotels as would love to share the experience with Annie & team as they love listening to your experiences in the evening. Breakfasts were their usual filling start to the day, we did have to cut back as could feel the weight gaining on the body as they were plentiful and very enjoyable (too enjoyable). It was a shame we had to leave in the end as enjoyed ourselves so much, fantastic hosts and we have such a relaxing time in the beautiful house and grounds. p.s the dogs loved jumping in the snowy grass, as its something we dont get in the West country that often.

Annie the host is an angel. She was extremely accommodating. She ensured my vegan breakfast was to my liking offered my husband hot soup for dinner and provided many recommendations. We spent hours talking to her and I feel as if she is family now. The guest lounge and fireplace was very cozy and inviting. She truly made us feel as if we were home.
