Very well managed business, efficient service, comfortable rooms. Great affordable cocktails from the pool bar. Loved sharing breakfast on the deck with birds!

I spent a couple nights in total here, camping with Absolute Africa, and really enjoyed my stay. The restaurant on site was sweet, camping area was well laid out with nice shared bathroom, and the staff were all wonderful! There was also a lovely gift shop at the entrance selling awesome handmade goods. The property as a whole is a paradise, but the heart and soul of Sedia are the people. Brightson will absolutely make your day and Bonolo’s smile will be unforgettable! Sedia feels like a home away from home. Thank you for making my time in Botswana so special. I couldn’t have asked for more and I can’t wait to return!

We recently stayed here in room 33, which is one of the standalone houses that functions as a family room. It was the most uninviting place I can remember staying in years. It is large, with two bedrooms (one upstairs) and almost completely undecorated and empty. It felt like we were in a university dorm, but even that probably would have had more furniture and a bit of wall art. The house was also kind of gloomy without much natural light, and had a funny smell. We did not enjoy it at all. Maybe the regular rooms are fine at this hotel, but definitely do not recommend these larger units.

Camping spots and dinner was inexpensive and good, but hotel rooms and safari were ridiculously over priced compared to other safaris in the area for almost a third of the price.

Lovely hotel and surrounds with a pool, bar and restaurant. Rooms were clean, modern with great wifi. Staff were fabulously friendly. Very upmarket place which made a welcome rest from a long day on safari! Highly recommend. Reasonably priced.

We had a very pleasant stay at Sedia Hotel and would happily return. The hotel is modern, well maintained, and the recently renovated entrance and reception area look fantastic. The whole arrival experience feels welcoming, bright, and inviting. The garden is a real highlight. It is beautifully landscaped, very well cared for, and has an almost exotic atmosphere that makes the property feel peaceful and relaxing. The staff were consistently friendly, responsive, and professional. Any requests were handled quickly, and we never had to wait long for assistance. The only disappointment was the swimming pool. Unfortunately, it was not heated and therefore too cold for us to use during our stay. This was a pity, as the pool area itself is very attractive. Given the abundance of sunshine in Botswana, perhaps a sustainable solar- or PV-powered heating solution could be considered in the future. It would make the pool much more enjoyable for guests while remaining environmentally friendly. We would also like to make special mention of our guide Florence, who contributed greatly to making our stay memorable. As her exceptional service deserves individual recognition, we will leave a separate review dedicated to her. Overall, Sedia Hotel offers excellent service, attractive facilities, and a comfortable atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would gladly recommend it to other travelers visiting Maun and the Okavango region.

Amazing food, both for the breakfast, which was the most complete and organized we had in Botswana, and for the lunch options, including vegetarian options. The hotel is almost "hidden", it doesn't look like much from the outside, but when you get in you have great views: a swimming pool with reclining chairs, several tables on the deck to eat in the open, well kept yard. The rooms were not the biggest, but the shower was very good and the bed was huge. We didn't get to make the TV work, but that's not a big deal and the towel bar/holder would fall easily from the support (room 9)
