Beautiful, romantic getaway location. We stayed here for two nights on our honeymoon trip and are so glad we came here! The rooms (tents) are very luxurious and private - we loved the shower especially! Sitting on terrace, watching giraffes and the sunset was so special. And the bed was huge and so comfortable. The little touches like the welcome drink, hot water bottles for when you come back from dinner and a flask for hot water to make a tea in the morning were lovely. Dinner was fantastic quality, with great and tasty vegetarian options. Breakfast as a comparison was quite plain, with only cereals/ eggs and toast as a vegetarian option. It would have also been nice to have proper coffee instead of just instant. The activities were great value for money and were lead by the expert Robert, we really enjoyed our bush walk and night drive. We would 100% stay here again (for longer next time!).

A hidden gem in Botswana! The tented camps are luxurious, and you truly feel immersed in nature. The staff are lovely, warm, and incredibly helpful. A special thank you to the lodge for the amazing bush dinner — an unforgettable experience dining under the stars in the African wilderness.

We were honestly blown away by our experience at Leopard Plains. The lodge itself is absolutely beautiful. Gorgeous, spacious rooms. A stunning pool to lounge around and cool down. And the perfect bar and restaurant area to relax with a drink and good food. Everything is very well maintained and kept extremely clean and tidy. The food is divine! BIG portions and delicious three course meals. The Leopard Plains family made us feel so welcome and were extremely friendly. Everyone was very helpful, fun and knowledgeable. Carina and Rob were great hosts! We stayed at Leopard Plains for two nights as the first stop on our honeymoon and they really did make us feel special. We had champagne waiting for us in our room and on the first night they arranged a private dinner around the fire for just the two of us. It was really magical to say the least. We honestly do not have one negative thing to say. We loved our time here and will definitely be back. Thank you for an unforgettable stay!

We wish we could have stayed here longer. Due to delays in Maun we arrived at dusk and had to leave early the next morning, on our way to the pans. It’s a lovely camp with very comfortable, clean chalets walking distance from the main area. You can park right at your room. There’s a fire with a view of a watering hole, and we saw impala and wildebeest just driving in and out. The staff were so welcoming and attentive, and the food was very good, with hot breakfast made to order and dinner served at individual tables. My only complaint is that we ordered packed lunches that were chicken wraps and leftover green salad that we hadn’t eaten the night before, and that cost $43 US, which is disproportionately expensive compared to much better meals in Botswana. The wraps were good though, even having been served hot and getting soggy before lunchtime. If you have the right camera, star pictures are a must!!

A wonderful short stay that exceeded expectations. Saw amazing wildlife and bird life on both the night drive and early morning game drive and really enjoyed hearing all about the history and plans for Leopard Plains going forward from the owners who were beyond helpful and hospitable. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and highly recommend!
