Best Western Premier Marvella Nha Trang

We stayed for one night. The breakfasts were excellent. There's a deposit of 2 million VND or your passport upon check-in. Note that the rooms are connecting. Everything in the rooms was clean and odorless, and smoking is not allowed, not even on the balcony. They immediately showed us a document outlining what was and wasn't allowed in the hotel.

Traveling solo with my child. A big thanks to Hai for the kind guidance and help with the airport pickup. The bedding was fresh and the bathroom was in good condition, but the indoor smoking in the connecting room next door on our last night was shocking. I appreciate the diligent staff who promptly addressed any inconveniences. Being right in front of Nha Trang Beach was great for swimming, and contrary to my worries, the noise from the road wasn't an issue at all. We had a pleasant stay overall.

Excellent! My wife also really liked this hotel. It's clean and hygienic, and conveniently located right by the beach – just step downstairs and you're there!

We stayed for 8 nights in an executive suite. We were immediately struck by how poorly cleaned the room was: footprints on the floor, gum stuck to the wall, and a musty smell. The gum stayed on the wall until the end of our trip, the floors were never washed, and the bathroom fixtures were only haphazardly cleaned. The cleaning quality was very low. The room layout itself was decent; it was large, with many windows and two air conditioners for different rooms, which was very convenient. However, the sofa was dirty, as were the curtains and windows. There were two small balconies, which was nice, but we were surprised there weren't even any chairs on them. Is it really that difficult to provide them? People come here, in part, to sit on the balcony and enjoy the view and atmosphere. You're not allowed to dry clothes on the balcony, yet there's nowhere inside the room, including the bathroom, to hang them. It's strange that in nearly 70 square meters, they couldn't offer anything to dry swimsuits. The hotel does not exchange currency. The pool on the 31st floor looks beautiful in photos, but in reality, it's small and cold. Plus, there are only 9 (!) sun loungers for all the guests. The lobby is small and unremarkable. Breakfasts are adequate but nothing special; there are no fresh squeezed juices on the 5th floor, and on the 31st, you have to squeeze oranges yourself, if they even remember to bring them. The 5th floor has a larger food selection than the 31st. There are many rooms but only four elevators. They're slow, not high-speed, and have no air conditioning inside, so waiting times are long. But the most surprising thing is that not only are there no sun loungers on the beach (they provide mats and towels), but towels are constantly unavailable. We tried to get them at 3 PM and 10 AM, and the reception told us to take our bathroom towels from the room and use those for the beach. For a five-star hotel, this is frankly embarrassing. Overall, after struggling with endless elevator waits, dirt, and a lack of towels, we were very happy to finally leave. I don't know, maybe other hotels in Nha Trang are even worse, but this one definitely doesn't deserve five stars, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

I want to leave a review that isn't good or bad, but rather allows readers to decide if this hotel is right for them. I'll describe everything exactly as it is. First, the hotel's exterior is beautiful. The doors are opened for you, it smells pleasant, and it's cool inside. Upon arrival, you're offered a glass of cold juice, which is much appreciated after a journey. At the reception, there are female staff who understand and speak Russian, some who speak English, and then there are others – mainly the male staff – who only speak Vietnamese. However, they immediately use a translator to resolve any issues. Next, regarding the deposit: ONLY Vietnamese Dong are accepted; USD are not, which is very inconvenient. Therefore, if possible, you can leave your passport. I left my passport, and there were no problems. The next point is the room, which fully matches the photos. Everything in the room is clean, and the furniture isn't worn out. I want to specifically mention the balcony. Don't bother with it if your room is on the side, or if the balcony offers a partial sea view and partial city view. It's very small, you can't sit on it, and there's no furniture. Drying clothes on it is not allowed – that's a hotel rule. So, it's just a waste of money.
