Affordable and clean enough, but controversial motel-type hotel with its pros and cons.
If you’re okay with dust on hidden surfaces, ant patrols for any food waste you trash, occasional sewage smell, loud staff noises from corridors around 10 am and a little bit of construction work sounds from the outside — this could be a good value.
The room (except for some areas), bedsheets and towels were clean enough, AC and fridge worked well, and there were even toiletries provided. Also there was enough light coming inside through windows — even though they were made of blurred glass. And shower worked well all the time, but at night hot water seemed to be off.
As for my personal experience — they lost my booking, didn’t move it to their system and finally when I arrived they gave me a twin bed room instead of a queen bed one. So it’s better to contact them beforehand and make sure your room is reserved. And when I checked in, the door and windows were open, so a cockroach host was already waiting for me inside — however he was the only one which came from the outside.
Overall it felt kinda cozy and suitable even for a long-term stay if you don’t expect much. The location is convenient to explore both tourist attractions and local areas.
