Very disappointing check-in experience.
When I arrived to check in, I was told that my room was not ready. Instead of apologizing or offering a proper solution, the staff suggested that I pay extra for a room upgrade in order to check in immediately.
At first, the upgrade was offered for $100 (with the original room priced around $200). When I declined, the price suddenly dropped to $75, and then again to $50 after I refused. This felt extremely unprofessional and gave the impression that I was being pressured to purchase an upgrade for an issue that was clearly the hotel’s responsibility.
The manager on duty, Pema, handled the situation, and it appeared that the repeated offers were more focused on selling an upgrade to increase performance or sales metrics, rather than resolving the guest’s inconvenience. This approach made the experience feel transactional rather than customer-focused.
After refusing all upgrade offers, I was told to wait about 30 minutes. This could have been communicated from the beginning instead of repeatedly pushing paid upgrades.
As an apology, they offered only a 1-hour late check-out, which felt inadequate given the delayed check-in and the way the situation was handled.
Overall, the customer service was disappointing, and I would not recommend this hotel based on my experience.

I TRAVELLED WITH MY KIDS AND REACHED WHEN IT WAS SNOWING BUT I LOVED MY ROOM, ALTHOUGH I COULDN'T CLEARLY SEE THE FALLS BSE OF THE WINTER, BUT THE VIEW WAS STILL BREATHTAKING.I LOVED HOW BIG THE ROOM WAS, IT HAS 3 QUEEN BEDS, A SITTING AREA, A MINI KITCHEN 2 60 INCH TVS AND A SMALL WADROBE. THE ROOM WAS SO BIG & SPACIOUS. GAVE US ALOT OF TOWELS. THE MINI KITCHEN COMES WITH A SMALL FRIDGE, A MICROWAVE AND A COFFEE MACHINE. I WILL ALWAYS BOOK EMBASSY SUITES.

Wow wow wow, I'm really impressed by the amazing view! The hotel itself is also top-notch. The breakfast offers something for everyone. I would definitely recommend it. I'm looking forward to coming back here again in the summer. The location is excellent, and there's plenty of parking available.

First of all, I’d like to start by saying that this hotel truly has one of the best locations on the Canada side of Niagara Falls. However, my overall experience was unfortunately quite disappointing.
Upon check-in, the front desk staff tried to upsell us to a “FULL VIEW” room. She kept repeating the word “Full View” and offered several options — 200, 250, 350 — without mentioning any currency. When I asked if there was a discount since I’m a Hilton Honors Gold member, she said she could reduce it to 180, and only then mentioned that it was in USD. I found that very confusing and misleading — we are in Canada, and unless clearly stated otherwise, I naturally expected the price to be in CAD.
After some discussion, we decided to go ahead and paid an additional CAD 250 (equivalent to 180 USD) for the “FULL VIEW” upgrade. Our room was on the 40th floor (room 4001). But when we entered, we were quite disappointed to find that the main waterfall view was partially blocked by the building’s red roof structure, as shown in my attached photo. Paying that much extra for a partially blocked view felt very unfair. Later, I checked online (using a different date just for reference) and found that the upgraded room type was only around CAD 150 more on the website — which made me feel even more upset and taken advantage of.
To be fair, all the lift and housekeeping staff we met were extremely kind, and our dinner at STK on the 9th floor was excellent — great food, service, and atmosphere.
Unfortunately, the next morning was another big disappointment. Around 7–7:30 a.m., we were woken up by very loud construction noise — constant knocking, drilling, cutting, and buzzing sounds from above. We couldn’t rest at all. I called the front desk, and the staff apologized and explained that there was renovation work happening on the 41st floor, offering us a late check-out so we could “rest more.” But with the ongoing noise, that was simply impossible.
What frustrated me most was that nobody mentioned this renovation during check-in, especially when the staff was actively encouraging us to upgrade the room. Since they were clearly aware of the noise situation, they should have informed us before we paid the upgrade fee — so that we could make an informed decision.
I completely understand that renovations are sometimes necessary to keep a hotel in good condition. But the way this was handled showed a real lack of consideration for current guests. Starting such loud work early in the morning, without warning, is unacceptable. And upselling guests into rooms directly below an active construction floor without disclosure is even worse.
Considering all of this — the misleading currency during the upsell, the blocked view, the inflated upgrade price, and the unbearable morning noise — I honestly felt that guest satisfaction wasn’t a priority here. It gave me the impression that the focus was more on making short-term profit than on building long-term trust or encouraging repeat stays.

As every guest says it, the location is one the best in the area. There are WeGo bus stops near the hotel. A WeGo day pass at CAD 11 is good value. Armed with this pass, one don't even need to use the inclined train ( at the back of the hotel) to go to Table Rock Center.
I my opinion, the close up view of the Horseshoe Falls outside Table Rock center is better than viewing from the hotel's falls view room which is very expensive.
Generally, our 2- night stay was satisfactory, except for the poor breakfasts and the chargeable usage of WiFi. Who charges WiFi usage nowadays?

We might have stayed at unprepared room. The shampoo and conditioner were empty so I had to call front desk to get it. According to a lot of reviews, there used to be some coins in the room to get water and pops from vending machines. However we couldn't find any coins from anywhere and we weren't even explained about that. There's no amenities except for Shampoo, Conditioners, Shower gels, Hand soaps, so I highly recommend bringing your own.
Wifi also didn't work at all. Tried to connect but errors occurred.
All employees were very nice, but service was poor and not worth it for the price and reputation.

Hotel located on the Canadian side of Niagara Falls. Great location. Our hotel had a great view of the Falls, but it is a little bit farther back than the Fotos show on the Internet. Breakfast was not good. It was overcrowded you had to wait to get in and there were not enough seats at all. Skipped the breakfast buffet.

Make sure you read the small print about the view of the falls! We booked a room that said “falls view” as opposed to “city view” but when we came to check in it was partial falls view and the photos of the view out the window were incorrect and it was half falls view but with the corner of another hotel obscuring the full view. We paid another £152 on top of the £240 we paid for the room to upgrade to what we thought we were getting - ie the one in the photo of our booking (below)
Admittedly in the small print the word “partial” did appear so I had no recourse.
Expect a 20 - 30 minute wait for lifts to arrive to take you down and as a result breakfast was heaving!!
That said the room was lovely and it was clean and the views were brilliant…as you’d hope for £410 for one night!!
Oh and remember tax is on top of everything advertised - so the $70 parking is actually $87ish etc etc
