Villa Saint Exupery Beach Hostel

This a excellent Hostel, right in The city center, behind Galleries Lafayette. Very clean, friendly staff and nice breakfast. I had a good rest and a good sleep.

Good location close to the old town and the beach, close to tram and bus stops. The reception is open 24/7.

The hostel was clean and neat, and the room size was quite good. However, my experience with the night female staff member was very disappointing. She was quite rude and clearly needs to improve her customer service skills. It also seemed like her English was limited, which made communication difficult. She did not provide any basic information about the hostel. I had to ask everything myself—whether there was a kitchen, gym facilities, room directions, and even which floor my room was on. This was honestly very strange and not what you expect when checking in. She also did not give any information about nearby attractions or places to visit. On the positive side, the morning staff member was much more helpful and guided me about buses and trains, which I appreciated. I would like to request hostel management to pay attention to staff training. Hostels and hotels are important tourist points, and guests spend their hard-earned money to have a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Staff behavior and guidance play a big role in that.

Fantastic location, very central to public transport (15min walk to Nice Ville station) and close to the beach/port. Breakfast is simple (cereal, yogurt, toast)and all you can eat, but for 9euro it is good value as surrounds are generally more expensive. There is no soap or shampoo in the showers, bring your own towel and locks as most hostels are. I did like first in first serve for the bedding. Bedding was basic, and comfortable. The social areas were great! Was nice to have access to a gym, fantastic addition to the place.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here, everything was clean and the location is great. All the staff were helpful, and the large social area made it easy to get involved with any of the events that were on, or as a place to relax.

Good stay great location, room was missing an outlet next to my bed but other than that it was fine.

Stayed for four nights in the room with 12 bunk beds- each night was fully booked. I recommend bringing your own towel, ear plugs and sleeping mask. Hairdryer is not strong. Everyone was quite respectful of others. Really convenient location, just a few minutes’ walk to the promenade, Jean Medecin tram and Nice-ville train station. Great food options around.

Many young adults, great atmosphere and hostel looks really cool and aesthetically pleasing. It’s in the centre so everything is near, great connection with transport. I would really recommend staying there
