Location: Great, very close to the beach, so you can come back directly for a shower after swimming. It's also very close to the Old Town; you can walk to the morning market, Castle Hill, and Place Masséna. However, it's a bit of a distance to the New Town. Cleanliness: Clean. Amenities: The air conditioning is quite old-fashioned and linked to the windows, meaning it won't work if the a window is open, which the staff didn't mention. Breakfast: The staff were excellent, and there was a wide variety of items. Overall, nothing particularly stood out, but it was decent. The mini sausages, bread, and bottled yogurt were tasty. Overall value for money is average; the room is relatively small (though the bathroom is very large and has a bathtub), but you're paying for the excellent location.

I really don't understand how this place has a 9.1 rating from tourists and is a 4-star hotel. The service is incredibly inattentive. When we checked into the room, there was no water, no glasses, no utensils. No fridge either. I called reception (and even figuring out which number to dial was a struggle), and it turned out the water was in the hallway. The receptionist said she couldn't bring glasses, a corkscrew, an iron, or anything else we needed because she was alone. We were told to either wait 20-30 minutes or go get it ourselves (it was 9 PM). This suddenly became *our* problem as guests. In the morning, we wanted to order breakfast to the room, but couldn't find the menu via the QR code on the table. Another call – turns out the paper menu is at reception, so again, wait or go get it. They brought a room service breakfast form that was just bread with bread. I went down for breakfast instead, where at least there was scrambled eggs and cherry tomatoes. I assembled my own breakfast and asked them to bring it up. When I brought the breakfast form to reception the next morning, they said it needed to be submitted a day in advance, not on the same day. I told the girl that nothing was explained during check-in – not about breakfast, not about water, nothing. Her reply? "You didn't ask." This phrase perfectly sums up their entire attitude towards guests here. It feels like there's no soundproofing at all. We woke up in the morning to housekeepers pushing carts, and to our neighbors' conversations and the clinking of forks and knives. Apparently, they were having breakfast. The rooms are old, the doors are old, and so is the air conditioning. Overall, the hotel didn't leave me with any desire to return, especially not for such a significant price. Don't waste your time and money here. For the same money, I would have stayed at a Mercury hotel. At least those look beautiful and renovated from the outside. The only positives are the good location and the beautiful view from the balcony room.

Before booking, I saw many positive reviews and photos from the hotel, which made me decide to book. But! I'm baffled! Why are there almost no negative reviews?! If you look closely at the hotel's photos, you'll realize they must be AI-generated! They're completely different from the actual place! Before check-in, I specifically requested a quiet room in the remarks, but I was given a ground-floor room facing the main street. Opening the window put me right by the road. Excuse me, where is the 'privileged scenic balcony' for a 2k per night room?! After opening the door and entering the room, I was speechless at the environment. What's the difference between this and a budget hotel? And! I thought the AC wasn't on, but it turned out to be completely useless! It provided no cooling whatsoever!!! And it was very noisy! If I hadn't slept with earplugs, I definitely would've been up all night!! After showering, I was sweating again!!!!!!!!!! Another huge red flag! Is the hotel undergoing renovation or something? The room had a dusty smell typical of construction! And it wasn't just a little bit!!! The rooms are very close together with practically no soundproofing!!!! While the room generally looked clean, when I pulled back the duvet, I found hair!!! The hotel's breakfast also had very limited variety, good for a quick bite if you're in a pinch. I cannot accept a hotel with this kind of environment for this price!!

Great location – the sea is just across the road, and it's within walking distance of the train stations. Plus, there's a vintage market nearby on Mondays. The hotel is clean, and the staff are very friendly. Breakfasts are a bit sparse but tasty. There's a water cooler with cold and sparkling water in the hallway.

Not bad. It's pretty close to the beach, and breakfast was decent, though it could use a bit more variety. The staff were also good, and the room facilities were great. Definitely recommend!

This was a stylish hotel, and I had a very comfortable stay! Unlike in Japan, amenities like bathrobes, loungewear, and slippers weren't provided. However, I was grateful that the hand soap, body lotion, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were all L'Occitane products. The power outlets require you to push the plug firmly all the way in. I brought two types of adapters, but one of them didn't work with these outlets. There was a water dispenser in the hallway, which was really helpful for refilling my water bottle. The cleaning staff were very kind and flexible, for example, they were able to just exchange the towels when I requested it. The location was very convenient, with a bus stop right in front, a tram station nearby, and easy access to the ocean!
