Hotel Hoho "A Hotel Overlooking the Echigo Plain and the Yahiko Mountain range"

We went with my husband and two elementary school-aged children. It's a traditional inn, but it's very clean. The staff and food were absolutely delicious. The piano performance and free welcome drinks were also a great addition to our stay. It's an inn we'd like to visit again. P.S. The breakfast menu is set, but they separate it into adult and child portions. The children's menu seemed easy to eat, and they ate it well. The rice tasting was also very enjoyable.

It was great that we could try different types of rice for breakfast! Everything was delicious and great. The location was good and easy to access.

Overall, it was clean, and the staff had a great attitude. However, I was bothered by the fact that I could hear voices from the hallway and from the next room. The hot spring bath was spacious!

This was the best value ryokan I found by chance. I would 100% visit again. The facilities were great and the staff was very friendly.

My son and I stayed one night in the cheapest room without meals. It was an old inn, but it had an open-air bath and was not too bad. There were three smoking areas, and from the smoking area in front of the large bath we could enjoy a leisurely cigarette while looking out over the garden.

The hot springs are nice, the staff are friendly, and the location is good.
