Niigata Park Hotel

This hotel was great! It's close to the station, and I really appreciated the public bath and relaxation area. The single room was a bit small, but perfectly adequate if you're just looking for a place to sleep. They have a self-service amenity station in the lobby, which is a nice touch. The complimentary welcome drink, choice of three pillows, and availability of loaner items like humidifiers and irons really showed excellent service. And for breakfast, if you booked by the day before, it was only 800 yen (a 100 yen discount), which was a great price. Plus, they served delicious local specialties like rice cooked with Niigata-grown rice and Tochio's fried tofu. I definitely enjoyed it.

The large public bath was great, and the shower in the room had strong water pressure, which was a huge plus! I was also really happy with the staff's service, the complimentary drinks, and even the candy they had available! The cleanliness was average, but the location was so good that I'd definitely want to stay there again! Above all, the staff were incredibly kind and polite.

The front desk staff were very kind and helpful, which I really appreciated. There was a wide variety of breakfast options, and everything was delicious. I will definitely stay here again.

It was quite old. I thoroughly enjoyed using the large public bath. The service from the woman at the front desk was wonderful; her smile was lovely. I will definitely use this hotel again.

It's located a 7-8 minute walk from the south exit of Niigata Station. While the exterior looks a bit dated, the facilities themselves are clean. The rooms are also well-maintained. One minor issue is that after flushing the toilet in my room, there was a slight catching sound from the tank. It stopped after a short while, though. Please note that the large public bath is used by men and women on a rotating schedule. The washing area can accommodate about 10 people. The bathtub is reasonably spacious. The breakfast buffet has a fairly standard selection, but it's sufficient considering the price. There's a free drink bar, and you can even enjoy free chu-hi (a type of Japanese alcoholic beverage). I would like to stay at this hotel again when traveling to Niigata.

The room was small and rather shabby with only two lights, but aside from that, the amenities were excellent, and considering it included access to the large public bath and breakfast, and cost less than 5000 yen per person per day, it was truly a great deal.

The price is not cheap. From the perspective of the hotel's internal infrastructure, room cleaning and hygiene, the cost performance is average. I slept by the window and could even feel the draft from the window. The horns of vehicles sounded like they were right next to my ears.

The location is convenient, close to the station, within a 5-6 minute walk. The facilities are not new, but they are clean and I didn't mind the oldness. Amenities were generously provided, so there was no inconvenience. Breakfast is charged, but it was good value for money and more than enough. Although it's not something I would give a negative rating for, the alarm clock in the room was not working.
