Toyoko Inn Niigata Furumachi

It was very good.

The worst Toyoko Hotel I've ever stayed at!! Thanks to them, I've finally experienced staying in a garage – life complete!! I don't know if it was specifically targeting Ctrip customers, but they assigned me the worst room: the last room on the lowest floor, right next to the elevator, with the restaurant and kitchen directly below. The constant mechanical noise was like a symphony, not a moment of peace. To make matters worse, there was a multi-story parking garage right outside the window! Noise, exhaust fumes, light pollution – all three! How can such a bizarre room be sold normally? I've never seen such a shameless hotel!!

The room was a standard size, clean and tidy, and everything was ready upon check-in. The breakfast was surprisingly good; I expected only rice balls, but there was even juice. Definitely worth the stay.

Although it's not near the station, there are still plenty of taxis in Niigata in the early morning, making it convenient to go to shopping malls near Bandaibashi. They have GU, Uniqlo, and Muji, which is very convenient. I'm quite satisfied.

It's located a bit far from Niigata Station. It's a short walk to the bar district, but that means it's quiet even at night. While the hotel's exterior shows its age, the interior is kept very clean.

The staff were incredibly attentive and made my stay very pleasant. The rice balls made with local Koshihikari rice for breakfast were delicious and free. They're incomparable to convenience store rice balls. Thank you very much.

The hotel boasts a great location, and as always, the hygiene of this chain hotel is reassuring. The breakfast is also plentiful.

I used this hotel for a trip to attend a live concert. I arrived around 10 PM on a weekday, and the parking lot was full, so I parked in a nearby coin-operated parking lot. The room was very clean and well-maintained. The rice balls and miso soup for breakfast were delicious. The rice balls were small, came in many varieties, and were easy to eat. I would definitely use this hotel again if I have another opportunity to travel for a concert.
