Hatago Nagomi

The locations and services were excellent. As this is a unique buildings sloping near the lake side, there is no lift but the hotel provides portal services. The onsen is not too big but enough for 6-8 pax at 1 time. Meals were very presettable and yummies. Overall stay experience was good as it is not the peak period.

My stay at Hotel Hatago Nagomi was a lovely experience. While the property is a bit on the older side, it more than makes up for it with a cozy atmosphere and excellent service. Waking up to a direct view of the lake from my room was a highlight, as was winding down in the relaxing on-site hot spring. The three-course Japanese dinner was absolutely awesome and offered incredible quality for a very standard price. It’s a perfect, comfortable home base for anyone looking for an authentic stay in Nikko.

The hotel is about 10 min walk from the bus stop. It has a good view on the lake and mountains. Also we saw monkeys along the road!🐒 Onsen is relaxing and also tattoo friendly which is good for visitors. Breakfast and dinner were good.

I had a truly wonderful stay at Hatago Nagomi. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. The staff were incredibly warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. Their hospitality made us feel so welcomed and comfortable throughout our stay. The food was absolutely amazing. Every meal was beautifully presented and thoughtfully prepared. The dishes were not only delicious but also showcased the freshness and quality of the ingredients. It was truly a highlight of our trip. The view from the hotel was breathtaking. Overlooking Lake Chuzenji, the scenery was peaceful and stunning, especially in the morning. Waking up to such a beautiful view made our stay even more memorable. Thank you to the entire team at Hatago Nagomi for the excellent service, super nice food, and unforgettable hospitality. We would definitely love to come back again!

every staff was so nice and friendly, we felt super warm! it was excellent experience to stay at Nagomi! if i visit nikko again, that will be my best choice and the only one! highly recommended! nothing more to say just thank you!

Another wonderful stay! This is my second time staying at Nagano, this time I brought my whole family along. The service was impeccable, the staff where attentive to all of our needs. The rooms had perfect views and the onsen was clean and soothing once inside. The dinner was delicious, Im glad they delivered! I will stay here a thrid time!

We had and amazing time here! The staff were incredibly friendly and hospitable. The onsen was so refreshing after a long day of travel. We also loved the beautiful setting next to the lake. It was so relaxing. Dinner was delicious and a neat cultural experience. If you're debating including dinner, definitely add it on. You won't regret it. When we left, the owner went above and beyond to help us out and make sure that we made it down the mountain to our next stop (edo wonderland) in a timely manner. Can't recommend highly enough!
