Honestly, given the low price that provides 2 meals and onsen experiences, I think it is quite good for value, but of course the building is very old and rather broken (although it is still usable). But then, it will take an hour to go to Nikko and the surrounding area isn't interesting to visit, just to stay in this hotel is not a very good option especially if you want to go hiking in Nikko.

Good location and a large bat

The stuff are extremely friendly and helpful. The reception desk stuff are always smiling and very willing to help. We have a wonderful stay here. Facilities are considerable for both elderly and kids. We would love to come back and visit again in the future.

It's located very close to the Kinu Tateiwa Suspension Bridge. I woke up just before 6am and when I opened the curtains, the morning sun bathed me in a truly divine view. When I opened the door, I was greeted by the sounds of the river flowing and the birds singing, which was very soothing. I took a walk across the suspension bridge and was greeted by Kinuta standing nearby. Another five minutes' walk brings me to Furukama Falls, so you can do a little sightseeing in the morning. The hot springs, which have both an open-air bath and an indoor bath, were very pleasant.

The facilities are old but well-maintained. I thought it was interesting that you could reserve private baths and various entertainment options. Maybe the walls are thin, but I was surprised to hear conversations from outside or the next room. It's nice that the suspension bridge is just a short walk away. The view was amazing.

You can stay here for less than a business hotel, with an all-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink dinner, breakfast, and hot springs. If you get up early and cross the suspension bridge, you can see a spectacular view.

We stayed as a family of four. We were able to use the hotel's facilities, such as the pool and table tennis, for free, and had a great time. There were a lot of guests with children, so the shared areas and dining halls in the hotel were very lively, but our room was quiet and we enjoyed the view, so we were able to relax. I think this is a hotel where people with and without children can relax. At dinner, there was all-you-can-drink alcohol, and we were able to enjoy local sake.

The hotel was very comfortable and well-equipped with amenities such as a buffet, karaoke, and table tennis! It's a lovely hotel and affordable, so I'd love to come back!

The facilities were a little old, but the kids enjoyed playing there. The price is reasonable, so it's a good choice for a family trip with kids.

Next to the hotel is the large suspension bridge, and Kinugawa Onsen Station is a 10-minute walk away. Breakfast and dinner are all buffets, and drinks are all available. The outdoor swimming pool is open from 9 am to 10:30 am and from 1 pm to 6 pm! Very good value for money!

It is about a fifteen-minute walk from the station. The hotel next to it has a shuttle bus to the station. It is recommended to improve it. The facilities are complete, a bit old, but still clean and tidy. There is a buffet in the morning and evening, with a wide variety and the taste is quite satisfactory.

From a price-quality point of view, this hotel is quite worthwhile for the unpretentious traveler. The location is in a picturesque place, but away from the main route of Nikko attractions. The hotel is quite old, but this was not too annoying. But dust is wiped only in visible places (no one bothers with anything near the windows or the hatch in the toilet). There was also very little water pressure in the room, although everything is fine in the onsen. The onsen was fine, but on one of the three days the smell of bleach was quite strong. The dinner was good, considering the cost and free alcohol, but the breakfast was quite unusual for a European.
