Unfriendly staff made you feel unwelcomed... The onsens aren't really hot enough for some reason even though they're pretty big. You'll feel like an outcast if you stay in the dormitory. There's a huge selection of manga though so at least there's something.

The reception inside the dormitory pod is almost non. Wi-if can be connected but no signal. Could not get cell service either. Not sure but it seemed like the pod walls blocking the service? Communal space on the second floor was great. Various kind of free beverages and sofa and hammock to relax.

Both breakfast and dinner are semi-buffet style. The food was pretty good, definitely worth a return visit. The location is convenient too.

Enjoyable stay at yutorelo nikko, which was conveniently located near lake chuzenji. Room was big and had a nice view of the lake. Hotel onsen was very legit and nice especially when the night was cold. There is free sake and alcohol in the lounge. Breakfast was a delicious set meal with drinks available. Hotel is walkable distance to kegon falls. Would recommend :)

We loved the breakfast. Simple and nice. The lounge is also interesting with free flow of drinks and popsicles during evening time. The hotel is situated on a quiet street so be sure to pack your own snacks as there is no convenience store nearby. Room is spacious for family of 4.
